Chap 10: Talk at the dining room

I took quite some times to try to solve the code myself but still couldn't find anything. So I planned to give it to the detective.

On the way upstairs to the detective's room, i saw Miss.Anna standing in front of her room and reading something-It appeared to be a letter. She read it while grinning.

When i came closer to her, Miss.Anna noticed my appearance so she quickly put the letter back to its yellow envelope and hid behind her back.

Harold: "What are you doing Miss.Anna?"

Miss.Anna: "Woman stuffs, nothing for you to be worried about, boi!"

Harold: "Then why are you hiding that letter behind your back?"

Miss.Anna: "Oh! That's just a letter from my ex. I suddenly found it again and just feel happy reading it. Lots of private and hot stuffs were written in there, so-"

Harold: "Okay, I understand. I won't ask anymore"

After saying that i then continued my way but still suspected her action earlier.

Few seconds later, i was standing in front of the detective's room, i knocked the door several times but there was no answer. Butler Peter was there, he tapped my shoulder from behind, making me startled a bit.

Butler told me that everyone was in the dining room, waiting for Cook Erika to make breakfast. I was kinda hungry so i went downstairs as Butler continued calling Mrs.Cathy.

When i arrived at the dining room, i suddenly felt an explosion happened in the kitchen. I know that it was just the Cook making food, but still be worried what kind of stuffs she was doing in there.

I sat at the table right next to the detective,...

Harold: "Hey detective, i have something to ask you about-"

Detective Billy: "Save it for later partner! My brain cannot operate while still being hungry."

I listened to him because i thought the murderer had been caught now, there would be nothing to be concerned about and to rush. Boy was i wrong!

Later, maid Natt brought Miss.Anna to the dining room along with Butler Peter and Mrs.Cathy. They all sat down, except for the Butler and the maid, who would be standing.

I noticed Mrs.Cathy looked at Natt constantly,...

Mrs.Cathy: "Hey! How long have you been working here?"

Maid Natt: "Just recently"

Mrs.Cathy: "You looked young. How old are you?"

Maid Natt: "About 16"

Mrs.Cathy: "I see...Have we met before? I saw your face pretty similar to someone"

Maid Natt: "No! I have never met a woman like you before and certainly I DON'T want to meet a woman like you again in the future!"

After hearing those words, Mrs.Cathy's shocked. The Butler had to apologize to her instead and moved Natt away.

When everyone was really settled down. Detective Billy told everyone about how Lucky was the murderer and was kept in the Mayor's room, given drugs to sleep.

Well, everyone's reaction was different.

The Butler, me and Natt already heard about this, so we're not surprised. But the others,...

Miss.Anna seemed to be calmed like she thought Lucky being a murderer was kinda obvious.
Only Mrs.Cathy was really shocked, she could even faint again but fortunately she didn't .
