Chapter 2- Getting to know him

I followed the address to the local smoothie shop. There I found Cody. He was sitting outside the shop. When he saw me, his face lit up.

"Great Concert." I said nervously.

"Thanks Madison. Glad to see you could make it. Do you think your friend had fun?"

"You have no idea. She probably won't stop talking about it."

We both laughed and grabbed a smoothie.

We talked for a little bit before the manager said it was closing time.

"Wanna come to the bus to hang out?" Cody asked.

"Uhmm.. sure."

Right before we got on the bus, I stopped and looked at him.

"Cody. Why did you want to meet me over here?"

"Well I really like smoothies..."

"Cody!" I laughed. " I mean why me? Why did you want ME to meet you here?"

"Well Maddie, you're honestly one of the prettiest girls I've seen. I mean, your super sweet and adorable. You make me feel so normal around you. I also wanted to get to know you better. "

I could tell I was blushing. Come on Cody. One of the prettiest girls you've ever seen my butt. He could be hanging out with super models and singers right now. Why me?

We got on the bus and relaxed. His parents were looking at me weird. I could tell they were unsure about Cody bringing a fan on the bus. I started talking to them a little bit and they realized I wasn't crazy. Alli and I kinda became friends. We hung out for 4 hours on the bus. They dropped me off at my house at 2.

Cody walked me to the door like a gentleman. It was kind of awkward. We just stood there looking into eachothers' eyes.

"Uhmm... i should get inside."

"Wait. Can I have your number?" He said with a smile.

"Oh. yeah sure." I said putting my number in his phone. "There you go."

"Thanks Maddie. I had a lot of fun. We should do this again soon." He said and kissed me on the cheek.

"Deal. hahah bye Cody." I said walking into my house.

I ran upstairs and just laid on my bed. Did this really just happen? Tonight? Was this all a dream? I checked my phone. 5 new messages. All from Cody.

Most of them said "hey." There was one that said "See you tomorrow."

I replied back, "Whats tomorrow?"

Within a minute, he replied back.

"Surprise. I'm taking you somewhere tomorrow. I miss you already. Be ready. (;"

Awww. I replied with "alright. Can"t wait. (:" and set my phone down. I was so tired. A long night spent with Cody Simpson. Could it get any better? I quickly fell into a deep sleep.

THE NEXT DAY

I checked my phone. I saw that Cody texted me two hours ago.

"Where are you? Are you awake? I'm outside!"

I started panicking. Oh my gosh! What if I ruined it? I quickly texted back.

"I'm so sorry. I just woke up. Getting ready now. Where are you?"

I brushed my teeth, threw my hair in a ponytail and washed my face. I then put on a lace tank top and short shorts. Ehh... its summer. Who cares?

I checked my phone. No reply. I hope he's not mad. I realized how hungry I was. I went downstairs to get cereal. As I got downstairs, I saw something. My jaw dropped and I started shaking. Is this really happening right now?
