Alright so this is my first fan fiction I've ever written.

"Ashley get up. I have a surpise for you." I said.
It was really early. I probably shouldn't have woke her up. She's not exactly a morning person but this was important.
"What is it Maddie? Its... 8 in the morning!"
"Well If you sat up and listened to me, you'd know why!"
She got up and looked at me very annoyed. "what." she said flatly.
She was wearing her Cody Simpson shirt. Perfect. It goes along great with the surprise.
"I got you... TWO TICKETS TO SEE CODY SIMPSON IN CONCERT RIGHT HERE IN MASSACHUSETTS."
She started jumping up and down and hugging me and screaming until the nurse came in and made her get back in bed.
"Ugh. I can never have any fun. But OH MY GOD MADDIE. HOW DID YOU GET THESE?" she said.
She had the hugest grin on her face. Something I haven't seen in two years.
Two years ago she was diagnoised with brain cancer.
She was only in 6th grade. She got sick and they didn't know what was going on. They decided to do a cancer test. Sure enough, there was a tumor in her brain.
The doctors couldn't figure out if it was too late or not. They decided to try chemo to see if it helped.
Her health progressed after the painful months of it. I would come to the hospital and see her crying. Some days she just wanted to die. I would turn on Cody's music and it seemed to calm her down. She loved him so much.
The doctors realized her health was decreasing once again. They diagnoised it terminal brain cancer. She had less than a year to live. That was 9 months ago.
I saw that the singer was coming to Massachusetts in the next few days. I asked the nurses and her family if she could be excused from the hospital to go see the concert. They said yes.
I emailed the manager asking for two tickets and explained Ashley's story.
I checked my email the day after and saw I had a message back from him saying that he would be able to get us two tickets as well as VIP before the show to hang out with Cody.
"Oh you know... magic." I said to her with a wink. I could be very secretive when I wanted to be.
She begged and begged me to go to the concert with her even though I knew nothing about this boy but I mean, how could I say no? She is my best friend.
THE NEXT DAY
Tomorrow is the concert. Ashley decided she wanted to go and get new outfits for the both of us. We went shopping throughout our local mall.
We went to almost every store in the mall.
After 3 hours she found the outfit she wanted. I wasn't much of a shopper so she chose my outfit for me. She got a navy blue dress with light blue flowers on it and got a pair of Pastrys. I wore a ruby red loose top with sequins and a black pencil skirt.
"Oh my gosh Ashley. I look like a clown."
"Gurl, you look so gorgeous. Wear these black flats too. (: " she said.
