Cody's POV

I missed her so much. Why? I have no idea. I mean I know this is harsh but there are 3 million beautiful fans out there who would die to date me. I should be thinking about celebrities to date, right? I mean, I couldn't date a fan. My other fans would get mad. I don't know.

This small town Massachusetts girl was on my mind though. Something about her just stuck with me. I couldn't place what it was. Maybe it was her beautiful brown eyes that made my heart melt whenever I looked into them.

Or her gorgeous  wavy brown hair that landed midway down her back. It was perfect. Or her amazing personality. The way her smile is contagious and her laugh brightens everyone's face.

Or maybe just the fact that whenever I'm around her, she makes me feel like I'm normal. Not just Cody Simpson, the pop star. But Cody Simpson, the small town boy from Gold Coast, Australia who likes to surf and listens to music.

This situation inspired me to write a song. I don't normally write songs for specific girls. I usually write how I think I'm supposed to feel. What I wish guys would say to girls because I know how they feel. But Maddie is different.

I pulled out my guitar. "Word on the street is that your single... So baby have you heard my single."

Can I even do that? Oh well. I'll write it down anyways. I played a few chords on my guitar and set it down. I just couldn't think of the words.

I heard a noise.

"Cody. Is that a new song?" It was Alli.

"Umm... I was just messing around." I said.

"It seemed like a little more than messing around. Do you like this girl? That 'Maddie' girl? I mean, I've never seen you act like this around someone who's not a celebrity."

"I never said anything about me liking her. Honestly Alli, I'm not sure about my feelings yet. I want to spend more time with her. I'm starting to..." I trailed off. Not wanting Alli to know.

"You miss her? Aww Cody!" Alli said. She knew me to well.

I had an idea.

"MOOOMM. I HAVE A QUESTION?" I yelled across the bus.

I went in and asked her. When she said yes, I immediately texted Maddie to call me as soon as possible.

I got a call from her about 3 minutes later.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Hi. Its Cody." I said.

"Um... I know. I called you."

"Oh right. Duhh. Okay so I have a question for you."

"alright. I'm ready."

Maddie's POV

"alright. I'm ready." I said with confusion. What was he going to ask? A million things popped into my mind but not the one he was ACTUALLY going to ask.

"Well..." he said. " My bus was going to travel through Massachusetts tomorrow on our way to the next stop. I was wondering if you wanted to come with me on tour for just a week. I know it's short notice and I'm sorry. I was just starting to miss you Maddie."

What. This kid misses me? He wants me to go on tour with him. I stopped from walking and just sat down on the curb. Is this a dream? I pinched myself. Definitely not a dream. Ouch.

"So are you going to answer..?" He said concerned but trying to joke around.

Oops.  I forgot to answer.

"Umm.. heck yes! I would love to! What time should I be ready?" I said.

"Well, shouldn't you ask your sister first or something? and if she says yes, 3 o'clock." He said. I could tell he was pleased with my answer.

"Alright. And i'm sure she won't care but I'll ask her when I get home and text you. Okay?"

"Alright. Sounds good." He said.

"Oh. and Cody?"

"Yes."

"I missed you too." Did  I really just say that? My mind said it! Not me! Oh gosh. Now he thinks I'm desperate or something.

"haha good. I hope we'll be spending a lot of time together this week." He said. I could tell he was smiling... even over the phone.

"Alright. Sounds good to me. Goodbye Cody. Text you later."

"Goodbye Maddie."

and we hung up.
