Chapter 9-Laughing and a shirtless Cody<3

Maddie's POV

I woke up with a smile on my face. And it wasn't going away anytime soon.

I picked out my clothes for the day and went to the shower. It was 8 o'clock and Alli had told me before that Cody slept in till about 11 in the morning. So I was pretty quiet.

I hopped in the shower and felt as the water soaked my hair and the steam exphoiliated my skin. I washed my hair and body and hopped out.

The mirror was all fogged up. I walked over to it and moved my hand around on it so I could see my reflection. I had slightly puffy eyes from crying last night but the bright smile on my face was distraction enough.

I got dressed and dried my hair and straightened it.

I walked out and put my Pajamas on my bunk and shut the curtain.

I heard a noise from the front of the bus and found myself walking in that direction.

I heard a laugh from it and noticed the TV on and Alli sitting on the couch with a bowl of Special K cereal.

"What are you watching?" I asked her.

"Impractical Jokers. Oh my gosh. This show is hilarious." She said in the middle of her fits of giggles.

We sat and watched it and laughed. We must've been loud because soon a sleepy and shirtless Cody came out from the curtain rubbing his eyes.

"G'morning." He said with a husky sleepy voice motioning towards Alli and I.

I giggled at him as he sat down next to me and rested his head on my shoulder.

"G'morning Cody. Are you still tired there mate?"

He didn't reply so I figured he fell back asleep.

Alli took out her phone and snapped a close up of Cody sleeping.

I watched as we both held in our giggles as she posted it on instagram tagging it as "Sleepy Cody.Zzzz"

We began watching Impractical Jokers again as Cody started snoring. I looked at him and then let my eyes drift down to his shirtless figure.

His abs were perfectly sculpted and his muscles were rounded and flexed.

Alli nudged me and I turned to look at her.

"Stop staring." She said winking.

I rolled my eyes at her and lightly laughed.

Unfortunetly Cody woke up looking at me confused.

"What are you laughing at babe?"

I stopped laughing and stared at him.

Cody's POV

"Nothing." She replied shyly.

I wondered why her emotion changed so suddenly but decided to ignore it.

I felt my stomach roar and got up reluctantly not wanting to leave the comfortable position.

"Would you like to come with my and get some breakfast?" I asked Maddie.

"Sure." Maddie said with a smile. She must be in a good mood. Thats ok. I love her smile.

I held my hand out for her to take and led her to the little kitchen. Mom, Dad, and Tommy must've went out for breakfast since they weren't in the bus or the bunks.

I got out honey nut cheerios for me and Maddie picked out some "Frosted Cody" that a fan got me.

Ahh fans are the funniest people.

I tweeted "Honey Nut Cheerios for this morning's brekky<3 #NothingBetterButKetchupAndSurfing"

I showed Maddie the tweet and she giggled.

This girl ugh. She drives me crazy but like she said last night, we should just forget everything that happened.

As much as I didn't want to, I agreed to her. I wasn't going to urge her to kiss me or date me. If she was ready, I would know.

We ate our cereal in silence. Luckily it was one of those silences where we were just enjoying each other's company.

"Do you want to do something later?" I daringly asked breaking the silence.

She looked at me with worry in her eyes. She replaced it with an apologetic smile and said," I already told Alli I was going shopping with her today. I'm sorry. Maybe another time."

I grumbled, knowing this was her way of rejecting me. I was done trying and got up from my seat storming off from the room. I was mad at myself. Why did I screw everything up last night? We could've been together by the end of the week. I really thought she liked me. The way she squirmed when I'd get close to her but never really tried to move.

At this rate, I would be lucky if we were together before I turned 18. Which would be in 3 years.

ughh.

I turned around about to head back to apologize when I saw the curtain open and her coming straight at me. Her eyes staring into mine as she snaked her arms around my neck and pulled me close to her, resting her forehead on mine.

"Yes." she said with a shy smile.  It made my body go wild. I already knew why she said yes but pretended to not know.

"What do you mean?" I asked looking dumbfounded.

"Yes I'll go out with you tonight." Is all she said before she pulled my lips to hers and kissed me.

I might rewrite this chapter later. I'm really tired right now. Sorry I haven't updated recently. Slight writers block. I kinda winged this chapter. Can you guys give me some feedback? I really need it to keep me going. Love y'all. <3 xx
