Chapter 6- Tour Time

Cody's POV

Maddie's sister said yes. Maddie called me that night to tell me. She seemed pretty excited which was a good thing because of how nervous I was to ask her to come on tour with me. Even if its only for a week.

On our way to Massachusetts to pick her up, I started singing my new single, on my mind while looking out the window as trees passed by.

"Give me the chance to love you. I'll tell you the only reason why.... Cause yoooouu are on my mind." I sang.

Alli, once again, snuck up on me.

"What are you doing Cody? Are you going to sing a song to Maddie when she arrives on the bus?" She joked.

She knows i'm not very comfortable singing in front of girls I like because they might relate my feelings to my career. As if I only wrote the song because I needed to.. not because I wanted to.

"Of course not. I'm just excited to see her Alli. Why? Do you not like her or something?"

"Cody, she's perfect for you and I love her like a sister! Don't get me wrong, she's gorgeous and super sweet. BUT she's a fan. I don't even know about how much hate she'll get if you two started dating. i"m just trying to help you out Codes." She said.

I knew she was just trying to help me out and keep her out of trouble but somehow it was making me mad.

"Alli, I don't want to talk about this right now. I'm not sure if I like her that way yet and I'm pretty positive she just wants to be friends. I mean yeah she flirts with me but maybe she's just a big flirt."

"Alright Cody. Just trying to help out." She said. I could tell she was sad about me kinda yelling at her but I just couldn't deal with this right now.

A few hours later, we arrived in Massachusetts. Next thing I know, the bus is pulling up by her house.

I was so excited to see her. I basically sprinted out of the bus and to her door.

Maddie's POV

I had been waiting for an hour. Where is he? He said 3 o'clock right? He probably got caught up in traffic.

I had texted Ashley earlier telling her how I was going on vacation with my sister. I hated lying to her but I couldn't tell her, not yet.

Next thing I know I hear a loud engine coming from outside. I looked out and saw a huge tour bus.

I then saw Cody's face on the side.

"COAST TO COAST" It read.

I saw the blonde-haired boy get out and start running up to my door. I saw him running and ran out my door as well. This should be interesting.

We ran into eachothers arms. It was a hug that you give someone after not seeing them in 6 months. It was tight but welcoming at the same time.

He picked me up and twirled me around. I just started laughing. This boy is strong! He put me down and laughed.

He then came up to my door and grabbed my suitcases for me and took them up to the bus.

I had said goodbye to my sister before she went to college of course, I would see her the same amount of time at home as I would while I was on tour... not a lot.

We walked into the bus. He showed me around.

"This is our little living room thing we got going on. Most of the adults chill here. Then the fridge and the bathroom. No number two." He laughed and so did I. " Alright here's the bunks we have. Yours is this one."

It was right above Cody's. It had stars on the ceiling.

Does Cody bring some fans on here and has them sleep in this bed? eww.

Cody continued on with the tour.

"So here's the back of the bus where us kids hang out and watch movies and play video games."

I looked through the games. Black Ops. Call of Duty. Modern Warfare. Definitely boy games. Then I came across Just Dance 2.

"So umm.. Cody what is this game?" i held it out teasing him.

"Oh that? That's Alli's!" Cody said defensively.

"Its not. Don't lie Cody. You play it almost everyday!" I knew that voice. It was Alli's.

"Alli!" I yelled and hugged her. She was like a little sister I never had.

" Well, I'm going to go get unpacked since I'll be staying here for a week." I said to Cody as I headed to my bunk.

I just about finished up 10 minutes later and I was scared by a "boo." and a tickle.

I screamed and jumped. I was easily scared.

"Cody!" I said pretending to be mad. "You scared me."

Cody grabbed my waist catching me off guard. He leaned me against the wall and moved my hair out of my face.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." He said this in a really sexy but hushed tone.

We both looked into each other's eyes for a moment. I could sense him starting to lean in to kiss me.

I wanted to kiss those perfect lips. No we're just friends, remember? Also, he does this with a girl from every show probably. This made me pull away from almost kissing him.

"Well after being scared to death, I'm going to finish unpacking ." I said quickly.

He looked disapointed but smiled through it. " Alright. Be sure to get ready. I'm you out tonight to a nice dinner." He said and winked.
