His face, despite holding a smile, was completely red and full of shame. He even avoided making eye contact with me.

"Well, I um... I hope that helps the scene you started with them... Night." Before I could even protest, Lee walked out and left the room without another word. I was flabbergasted.

My body began to quake, realizing what it was just denied. I gave him consent, right? We would have kept going. Who knows where we could have gone, but wherever it was I was more than happy to go with him. But, was he okay with it? He seemed to be willing to go forward until a certain point. Something was holding him back and now I became obsessed with wondering why. He felt something for me and I did for him as well. Was there still uncertainty?

I grabbed one of my pillows and hugged it to me, taking deep breathes and trying to calm down. My body was hot and I needed to cool down before trying to analyze the situation. My mind slowly melted into a calm at last.

"Lee..."

I went to bed that night, thinking of the next day and how life had become that much more interesting. I had to crack down on the scene. I began to pave a new way for it to go, not with action but with emotion; not with touches, but with thoughts and words. It was a new experience to use it in an intimate scene but for some reason it felt right.

"A gentle kiss on Jasmina's neck was all it took to send her mind into a small frenzy. She felt her head become feather-light, concentrating solely on Gerald's butterfly kisses on her warm and supple skin. Her hand followed his up her stomach, tickling over the nerves and making her gasp softly."

Jasmina: "Ahhn...! Gerald..."

Gerald: "Nnn... do you wish for me to stop, my princess?"

"Jasmina's thoughts ran at breakneck speed against one another. She felt overjoyed to have come that far with him that she was drawn to continue and do more. The innocence within her mind melted with each touch Gerald placed over her warm body."

Jasmina: "No... please, touch me more..."

"Her voice dripped with her joy and anticipation, despite her shy tone. Jasmina arched her back over Gerald's chest, feeling him gently clasp the underside of her breast and dance his free hand over her thigh."

I read over my work and smiled. There it was. I was getting back into the swing of it and, as I read it again, I could tell that there was some improvement. It may not have been much to a perfectionist, but it was good enough for me.

I slouched back against the armrest of my chair, happy about the resparked momentum, when Lee appeared out of his room, causing me to look over.

"Oh, hey."

"Hey." I stared at Lee, watching him walk into the kitchen and start to clean and prep for lunch. For some reason, however, something was off with Lee. I could tell that he was avoiding talking about the night before and, while I understood why, it was still something that bothered me. There was no reason to be ashamed or embarrassed about it. I liked him and appreciated his support and concern. The thought of him being here for me made me happy and like him that much more.

However, maybe Lee was having second thoughts. I couldn't tell and it was starting to bother me a bit, but what if Lee didn't want to be close to me? I could only grimace. Did going too far ruin his feelings for me? I quickly shook my head. No! That couldn't be. No way. That was idiotic.

Yet as the day turned to night, Lee spoke very little except to give me food and greet me once in awhile when he'd re-enter the front room from his room. I soon forgot about the scene and worried more about Lee. Even if something changed, I didn't want our relationship to be in jeopardy. I cared for him too much to let this dissolve...

I let out a sigh and eventually stopped working. I wouldn't let this get between us any longer. It was time to talk.
