Chapter 2

"Amelia Waters"

"Hey, its Lee. You busy?"

I smiled. Lee Yoon Ho was my manager and agent, devoted to making sure my work was published at the highest quality for the price he believed it was worth. I felt a bit spoiled, because he often overworked himself, but I had to accept that it was his job to care for me.

For some reason he preferred to use his family name in business, saying that it was easier for clients and representation to use instead of Yoon Ho. I like his personal name, but I didn't want to fight him about it.

"Hey. No, I'm not busy. What's up?"

"Well, I wanted to ask you about your next book. Do you have any clued as to what it will be about?"

I froze while my cat jumped off my chest and off the bed. I had almost forgotten. I had to stay on schedule with my book and my deadline for a book concept was coming up very soon.

"Totally! I definitely have a story idea planned!"

"Uh-huh. What's it about?"

"Uh-Well... It's about a cat and, uh..."

"You don't have a clue, do you?"

"No.."

"You don't have to lie to me, you know?"

I grimaced. It wasn't that I wanted to lie I just didn't want him to worry about it. I would have come up with something to throw at him eventually...

"To be honest, i've had a lot on my mind."

"So, what's on your mind?"

I pressed my lips together. I became unsure. Did I want to tell him about my failed love and sex life and have it showed in my writing so blatantly? It was embarrassing to say the least, but he was my manager. He had to know Why I would be behind. I took a breath and let out a heavy sigh, lowering my head. Might as well be honest.

"I looked over some of my writing and I'm not happy with it."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I mean that the sex scenes suck. And I mean REALLY suck."

Silence lingered on his end of the call. What was he thinking? Sure, it was a small thing. But I was known for my romance writing and sex is naturally a part of it. Finally, Lee spoke up.
