I can taste the familiar iron-like taste of blood in my mouth.

The spectators are yelling and cheering. They have gone absolutely crazy.

The sumongosaurus had punched me so hard that I could practically see stars.

I was fast but he was strong and humongous. I can barely hurt him with his 4 inches of fat layer.

Crap. This is getting out of hand. I have to do something. Think Kristen think.

I remember my brother's words when he was training me "Always use your opponent's power against him and remember don't get your emotions haywire because they may give you temporary power but they also enhance your weaknesses."

That's it. Emotions and power together make the recipe for disaster. Got you sumongosaurus!

I wipe the blood on my mouth and look at him smiling. " I know your weaknesses, you overgrown piece of meat!" I shout at him.

"Wha...what??!!" He says confusion written all over his face. "No, you don't. You just trying to confuse me." He says getting angry.

I smirk at him and raise an eyebrow.

This better work Dax. Or your sister is going to reach home in a platter of mashed potatoes.

He looks at me confused and frustrated and I can see a tiny bit of fear growing.

"H...How do you know about my neck injury?"

Violà.That's my cue.

I charge at him with full speed and he tries to block me but I jump and land behind him.

Not giving any chance for him to turn around or figure out what's happening, I smash my elbow on the back of his neck.

The sumongosaurus crouches down grabbing his neck trying to soothe out the pain and trying to get up at the same time.

I run backward towards the thick rope enclosing of the ring to get some momentum and height and I take off.

I land on my knee on top of him hitting him in the same spot again.

A deafening cry of agony fills the arena and the audience goes silent.

My opponent is now sprawled on the floor and his face scrunched up in pain.

Maybe I went a bit too far. But that's what fighting underground is about. We all signed up for this knowing about the grave danger.

The umpire comes and checks him and announces me as the winner.

The audience goes crazy and I get off the ring.

After cleaning my wounds and disinfecting my cut on the lip. I change into my clean and spare hoodie and head out of the arena through the back door.

I put on my helmet and start the engine of my baby.

The guy I fought earlier comes out of the back door. He is wearing a support band on his neck and flinches on every step he takes.

He doesn't notice me and walks slowly with his friends supporting his huge figure.

One of his friends notices me and says something to the hurt guy something that is inaudible.

He turns around slowly looking at me with a death glare.

Oh boy! He's angry. Very angry.

I hurriedly rush out of the arena and head home.

I park my baby and slowly walk towards the house while removing the mask and inhaling fresh air.

The mask sometimes is a bit suffocating but I need it very much.
So it's bearable.

I thought of going back to my room from the rope hanging outside my window but I was super tired and sore all over from the fight.

I fish out the spare key from under the mat and turn the key slowly to not make any kind of nice and wake Dax up.

The door opens with a small click and breath hitches.

I wait for a few seconds before gently pushing the door open. The door opens with a creak and I mentally kick myself for not being able to use the rope.

I tiptoe to the kitchen to get something to eat and decide to have some cereal.

Yep, midnight cereal is the best.

I open the fridge and it lights up the kitchen with a soft light.

I busy myself by searching the fridge for some milk to go with a cerial.

Suddenly I can hear a soft click and in less than a second the whole room lights up.

Dammit. Caught.

Dax catches me with the fridge open and milk in my hand.

I smile at him sheepishly.

Thank goodness I don't have my mask on or else it would have been very difficult to come up with a valid excuse.

My brother looks somewhere between angry and confused and signals me to follow him.

I quietly keep the milk down on the countertop and follow my brother.

Okay. Here goes nothing.
