Kristen's POV

I don't know is just me or everyone did this but, when I was small and while bathing I used to play with bath bombs thinking of them as magical balls which had shine and shimmer which could turn my legs in a mermaid tail. Yes, that was me.

Sometimes the memories of childhood, good or bad makes us want to keep going no matter stands in our way and right now the problem of sneaking out is standing in my way.

Getting out unnoticed is definitely going to prove more difficult than I thought.

I look outside the window and I have a light bulb moment because I can sneak out of the window easily without going through the front of the warehouse where there are chances of me getting caught and questioned. The window faces the woods where some old crates and boxes are just randomly laying around and this couldn't get any better. All I need to do is just be light on my feet. I waste no time and jump out of the window and start running but then I realized something. I was going the won way, I have to go around the building and not into the woods to get to the main road or else I will definitely get lost in the woods. Again.

With no other choice left I go around the warehouse being extra careful in trying not to anything that would cause me to get any kind of attention. I pass through all the rooms' windows one by one. I saw Dax sleeping on his bed and Damien, the guy who was at the party was sitting on the sofa with a book in Dax's room. Next, I saw Julian and Katie talking, more like arguing about something with super tensed expressions.

Somethings definitely up between those two.

I pass through the kitchen where Jordan was putting his cereal in a bowl of milk.

I seriously don't know where our world is headed to because everyone pours milk over cereal and that is how it should be and not the other way around because it so satisfying to pour the milk and watch the cereal rise and wonder whether the cereal is only floating above the milk or is in the milk too.

I didn't see Brandon on my way out in any of the rooms. Maybe he was pooping. I reach the front gate with great caution because the guard might be there. Just opening the gate and leaving was not an option because nothing is that easy and I knew the gate would definitely creak which is exactly what I don't want. So, I decided to jump over the wall. I walk to the edge of the wall when a dark figure jump over the wall. It seemed like an animal which could have just come out of the woods nearby.

The wall was high but not impossible. The first time I didn't reach it but the second time I jumped with all my might and was able to get a hold of the wall. I wait for a second hanging like that before I haul myself up and over the wall and reach the other side.

Okay, Kristen, you got out but, now what?

I don't have my bike or my clothes and for those things, I need to get back to my house. But how? This is not a GTA game where I can make a ride fall down from the sky. Then I see a blue truck standing a bit away from where I was standing. Luck is a funny thing. It might just act up at the most random of a random moment. I go near the truck stealthily to look if the driver was around.

All clear.

I hop on the empty trunk of the truck and wait. The trunk had a few onions, maybe the guy was a grocery deliverer. after what felt like an eternity the driver showed up and thankfully he didn't check the trunk and just started driving. The coincidences are overflowing because the driver was going in the direction where I wanted to go. He was about to take a wrong which was not beneficial for me so, I pick up an onion and hurl it inside the truck through the side. The truck came to screeching halt and I wasted no time in jumping off and running. The driver got down and spotted me running.

"Hey! Stop!"

"Thank you, mister, you are the best" I say waving, laughing and running at the same time.

I run back home just to realize I don't have the key and that's when my memory decides to wake up and shout 'SPARE KEY'. I take out the spare key and open up. I quickly go upstairs and change and pick up up my keys and leave.

It felt like eternity since I rode my bike so, I live the ride to the arena. Parking in the same usual spot I make my way into the arena. Considering everything that just happened and all the stuff that i got to know along with the pressure to make a choice, Today, someone is definitely going to be at my mercy. I can feel it. The place was filled with people. I never understand it. Why is it always filled with people and its like the same old shouting drunk faces which all look similar and you can never identify them?

I hope I get a good opponent today.

I register and wait in the dressing room and I soon get bored decided to watch the others fight. On my way out a drunk guy was cheering and shouting but he accidentally shoved me.

Ouch!

I see my foot on someone else's and then I look up.

Shit! I almost forgot about him.
