Rain poured down heavily that night and Funmi surprisingly slept off despite the asthmatic attack earlier in the day. Her heart beat was steady but she realized that she might have severe attacks if she doesn't keep her emotions in check. As the clock struck 2 at midnight, she got up and stopped her shrilling Mickey Mouse alarm clock. She slipped her feet in her pink fluffy slippers and walked to the bathroom. She washed her face, came back to her bedroom and went down on her knees to pray. She decided that as a daughter of Zion, she must lay down all her cares at God's altar of grace. Thirty minutes later, she got up and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning...

Funmi got up with a spring in her steps. She felt refreshed and ready to face whatever would come through the madness thrown at her. In conclusion, the parents (Olanrewaju and Babalola) out of concern are marrying her off to Antonio to protect her from the evil Richards and at the same time, her parents will be paying back the debt by installment at their own pace which surely would be impossible with anyone else. Friendship.

I hope to cultivate this kind of friendship too; one that will make us family and eternally bound by true love, loyalty and honesty. Her mind drifted to her childhood and current best friend, Kemisola Adeniran Olanrewaju... a.k.a Mrs. Olanrewaju Junior. She smiled brightly as she remembered the day she tied the knot of marriage with her elder brother Dele.

She picked up her comb to straighten out her straight shoulder length hair when she heard the main gate opening. She looked at her watch; 06:30am. Who could be coming so early? Maybe Sharon told Antonio about the asthma attack and he is coming to check on her or scold her for scaring his precious girlfriend. She walked to the door, waited for the knock and finally opened.

"I don't believe it!" She cried in happiness. Standing right in front of her was none other than Kemisola.

"Surprised? I will not allow you to keep me from your life o!" Kemi said in feigned anger.
