I woke up to the sound of my mum banging at the door like a maniac , "come on honey get up, you don't wanna be late for school even though you resumed late" she said from the other side of the door. I groaned and checked my iPhone, its 7am and I set my alarm for 7:30.
"Ok mum I'm up" I yelled back, thank God school is close by. So I got up, had my bath, brushed, packed my hair, etc and came out of the bathroom, and my alarm came up "I woke up Chris brezzy ,oh my god I'm the man" I quickly turned it off. "Its a little too late for that" I said. I wore my uniform the school gave me,checked my black&blue braids which I packed in a bun in the mirror, wore my special watch and put my lip gloss on.

"Cute" I said to my reflection. Satisfied with my look I went downstairs to eat and headed to the car. My bags are already in so I hopped in with my personal maid and mum beside me and the guards in the other car and listened to "I do" by cardi b and SZA as I passes my house gates.

"Wake up honey we're here" my mum shoke me.
"How long have I been out" I asked.
"About immediately we hit the road so like an hour" she said
"Nawa o! My middle name should be sleep" I said.
"You know I actually considered that " she joked and I gasped. "Kidding, OK stay here with the guards while I make the necessary arrangements" she warned.
"Sure mum but be quick" and slept left while I was bored out of my life for 30mins.
"Sorry it took so long ,I wanted everything to be clear, sha I got to get going, you know how your dad gets when I'm not there by the time he gets back" and I rolled my eyes knowing how he. "OK be a good girl now ,you know this is a high class school, we paid good money ,don't disgrace me or your name" my mom warned seriously kissing my forehead.
"OK bye Nduka ...see you soon " I said and my mom shot me a glare " I mean emm...sorry bye mum" and she smiled and kissed me goodbye.

"And here I am" I thought to myself, standing in front of one of the most prestigious boarding schools in Abuja if not the Nigeria, in one of the biggest areas Gwarinpa. In my navy blue uniform with white shirt and socks . Natalie's parents agreed to transfer her to the same school as me since we are such good family friends and I hope I see her soon since she resumed on time while I came 3 days later on orientation day ,since I didn't want to come early. As if on cue I was tackled out of my thoughts by some female.
"Annabel !!!! " Natalie squealed sending both of us to the floor with she on top.
"God I've missed you so much, how was your trip?, you never resume early, how are your parents?" She kept on talking.
