"And the winner of this year's skating championship is... " BUZZ-BUZZ. "Ugh stupid alarm." I turned to turn my alarm off when I heard my mother coming up the stairs.
"Carma honey, breakfast is ready"

The hot water felt so relaxing on my body. The scent of strawberry filled the bathroom as I began to wash my hair and body. I finished my shower and got dressed. I brushed my teeth and began to straighten my hair when my father started to knock on the door.
"Carma, hurry down honey, your breakfast is getting cold."
"Okay dad I'm almost done".
I quickly finished my hair and went downstairs. As I reached the bottom I was suddenly blinded by a pair of hands.
"What's going on guys?" I said laughing.
As I say that, my eyes are uncovered and I turn around to see my older brother Jason. He's been in the military ever since I was 10 years old.
"JASON!" I say, while jumping into his arms.

"How did you get here?!"
"My Sergeant knew it was your birthday and he let me come home for the weekend" Jason said smiling
"Well I'm glad you made it".
"So are we, Happy birthday honey" My parents said as the walked into the kitchen.
"You look so nice princess" My dad said as he kissed my head
