Jasper: ANYWAY, Monty and I (ofc. we make the stupid decisions) thought about it and bought a whole piece of land (is that the correct terminology?) so we can save up to pay for people to construct the house and to buy materials to build a really friggin big house for us
Clarke: but why?
Raven: because think about it, I'm not paying rent or anything and your parents (or at least your mum) are going to need me to leave, where do i go?
Maya: my dad's already talking about buying me a house or something for when i move out soon
Echo: i was kicked out last week bc my dad is a junkie and my mum disappeared so I'm living on Harper's couch
Murphy: your mum isn't gonna want me around for much longer, especially since i was escorted home by the cops in handcuffs last month
Bellamy: our mum is getting sick and soon we won't be able to afford to live there
Miller: my dad wants to move across the country in a few years, to be with his brothers and sisters before they die (he's like 40, thinks he's 70)
Harper: my dad already wants me gone
