IRL
As Clarke walked out of Raven's hospital room where she lay, conscious for now, the group of kids join Murphy by Raven's bedside.
"Raven! Holy crap!" The younger Blake practically sprinted across the small area between her and the girl on the bed and held her in an embrace.
"Do you remember what happened?" Bellamy, of course it was Bellamy wanting to know what happened, asked softly. The brunette laying in the bed nodded her head slightly, careful not to hurt her already aching head.
"Sort of. I was driving back from the store when a four wheel drive came from beside me, they had a bulbar so they probably had few to no damage done to them. The car looked oddly familiar but I don't know, I cant put my finger on it. from what I remember, the person never got our of their car, just backed up and drove off. Also, doctors are doing some check ups or something on my leg and they think I need an operation." Raven looked at her friends sadly as Octavia rubbed her upper arm soothingly.
"Do they have any idea what the problem in your leg is?" Miller spoke up, moving closer looking at her leg sadly.
"They said it could be nerve paralyse on my upper thigh of my left leg. There could be a possibility I can walk again but only after weeks, maybe months, of physical training. Even then, after surgery I cant walk for at least two weeks. How the hell am I going to just sit around and do nothing waiting for my leg to heal?!" Murphy moved closer and put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"What happens if you don't have the surgery?" The injured girl sighed shakily before answering,
"I could never walk again."
Just then, a red and puffy eyed blonde walked through the door of raven's hospital room. Bellamy immediately jogged to her, asking what was wrong.
"What's right? M-my best friend just got into a car crash and my mother called me to tell me my dad just died. Over the phone! My dad's gone!" The entire group of kids gasped, wide eyed and pale faces.
"W-what? He's gone? No, no, no, no. This can't be happening," Murphy muttered repeatedly in his seat next to Raven who was already in tears.
"Clarke..." The older boy whispered beside his girlfriend, pulling her into a hug. "I'm sorry."
"No, right now, we're here for Raven. She's still alive, thankfully. I don't know what I'd do if you died too, Rae. Thank you, for not dying. I don't think id be able to handle that today.. or ever."
"I'll try not to die tomorrow too, if that's cool with you," the girl croaked from her bed. Her eyes started to droop and she was slowly falling asleep. "I'll text you in the morning. Please don't stay overnight, I can handle one night alone. Please?" Murphy scoffed in disbelief causing everyone in the room to spin around to face him with looks of confusion.
"You can all go, I'm staying the night, we can take turns if you want but you're not being alone. The person that hit you could've been trying to kill you, what if they came back? Sorry, but no." Every person nodded their head in agreement as Raven sighed, rolling her eyes.
"I guess a little company won't hurt, one person a night only! Goodnight everyone else, bye bye. Come up here, Murphs."
The rest of the friend group walked out of the room and into the hallway where they walked together outside before parting into even smaller groups to head home or drop others off.
