Y/n is one of my best friends, they are a handful. She/He LOVES food. We went with them to a burger place on my birthday and they had 3 burgers before going into a food coma. If you go to their house however, it is actually very clean. Anyways, today is their birthday!

Me, Connie, and Amethyst were setting up decorations, Pearl was setting the table, and Garnet was doing something. After we finish we have to get y/n and that might be hard.

You see y/n isn't a very outdoors person. If they could they would never leave their house. Pearl has talked to her/him many time on why they can't just eat snacks and soda, but they probably only listen for a day or so before going back to eating unhealthy. I finished decorating and Amethyst walked off to get Pumpkin, Peridot, and Lapis. Connie just sat down and I went to grab my phone and texted y/n.

STEVN WAIT ONE MINTUE IM IN THE MIDLE OF A GAME

This always happen. If you try to text them the only response is 'I'm in the middle of a game', 'I'm tired not right now', and the rare 'I'm free today you probably already set plans huh?'. It's sad to think that this happened to them after a really bad break up. Her/His parents came to visit sometimes and once when they were there they told me that they were a really outgoing person. Loved talking to everyone, meeting people, and hanging out. They said that she/he had been dating someone for 2 years and they suddenly broke up with them. Sad and confused they tried to find answers but never did. Then they got the wrong idea and thought people wanted to use her/him. She/He thought everyone hated them so they became very bitter. She/He didn't want anyone to use her/him again. They didn't like going out as much, disliked talking to people, and never got too attached to something or someone. They would always play games and eat unhealthy and here they are now.

I was getting bored and I almost fell asleep. It was 11:34 a.m. and we've been decorating for an hour. Then I heard my phone go off.

Hey sorry about that. I was playing a game and we were losing. What'd you need?

Wait is everyone ready?! I checked if everything was ready. Connie finally got here and Amethyst should be back soon. The table was set and there was plates and forks on it. Garnet was nowhere to be seen and I started panicking. 'What if y/n thinks I'm in trouble and comes down? What if Garnet or Amethyst don't make it back in time?' I looked at my phone. No new messages. They might think I'm in trouble. "Guys y/n might come down soon so I'm going to go distract them. Text me when your ready." I yelled as I ran off. I turned around and saw Connie coming so I slowed down to let her catch up. We walked to rest of the way and made it to y/n's house. I knocked. No response. Connie knocked. No response. We knocked really loudly and ring the door bell a lot before the door opened.

"WHO KEEP MAKING THat noise." Y/n said looking down at us and smiled. "Oh hey Steven. Hey Connie." "Hi" We both said as I waved. They opened the door some more to let us in before closing it. "So did you guys come her to play?" We shook our heads. "I have to watch you?" Me and Connie shook our heads once again before smiling. Y/n looked very confused. "Umm I'm all out of ideas." Connie then said, "Well we got bored so we thought we'd visit our best friend." "Yeah!" I added. "Well you know where the snacks are, soda is in the fridge, and since Pearl told me I had to get water, there's bottled water in the fridge. If you guys wanna play just ask." We nodded and headed to the kitchen. I grabbed a cookie cat and some soda while Connie got some soda and a donut. I was eating my cookie cat and looking around since I haven't really looked around their house. "Hey guys. Hope you had fun exploring. If your ever hungry be free to take any of the snacks." I felt my phone vibrate and saw it was a text from Pearl
