How Taehyung actually fell for Jungkook?

Taehyung came to know about Jungkook a few years after the younger debuted. It wasn't much of a shock considering he was rising faster than any other normal model. Add his split personality attitude and he was the most demanded model among fans in no time. The older had become one of his fans soon but it was all from afar. Jungkook glittered from afar and just like others Taehyung felt himself getting dragged towards him.

It was simple admiration for his fellow model until Taehyung started hearing things about the younger's attitude behind the camera. The cockiness, arrogance, humiliating his staff and costars etc. He brushed it off once or twice but when it became frequent he couldn't help but become curious as to how his angel of a human could possibly be accused of such harshness. He didn't even look like someone who would hurt a fly but what people were saying was completely opposite. Apparently no one was happy to work with him but they had to since he was number one demand of the fans.

Jungkook was famous as the 'two faced serpent' in his industry and if you ask Taehyung it was pretty mean. However he didn't know that Jungkook actually liked it. Regardless of all that the older model didn't change his mind because he hadn't seen it with his own eyes. He had yet to face the said serpent or at least see him while he was interacting with someone else.

As time went by his chances of meeting the said male reduced day by day until he heard the rumor that Jungkook didn't like queer people. To be exact he heard that 'Jeon Jungkook despised gays'. That was a big blow to his spirit. Of all the rumors he just had to get stuck on this one. Despite many attempts of comforting himself it didn't make any difference in his dropping confidence. Seeing how he was getting ideas of never wanting to see the model anymore Taehyung thought to himself that this wasn't good. He was getting manipulated by mere words and that too were those that he had no proof of. This was how he came up with the idea of a proposal for his angel to work together. Even though his manager and friends told him multiple times that he was not going to like how it will turn out Taehyung stood strong on his spot and didn't accept anything except for a 'yes'. Begrudgingly his request was listened and forwarded which led to him meeting the said male eventually but it wasn't a very nice meeting as we have seen.

Taehyung was hurt when he was insulted to say the least but it didn't stop his feelings from growing. The model was already head over heels for the young brunette when he heard that his offer was accepted without any problem which gave him the idea that Jungkook was not as bad as he was portrayed. It was that moment of false hope that peaked his feelings of admiration for the young model into feelings of affection.

The day the two models met Taehyung's heart was beating like a drum until it was broken brutally by his angel. That night Taehyung cried just as Jungkook had predicted but it didn't last long. Taehyung did let his feelings out once he was alone in the darkness of night but after a little while when the hurt was over a new feeling of determination rose. He knew he was too deep in love with the model to back out now even if he wanted to and so the only thing he could do now was move forward. He was going to face Jungkook head on and try to find out which one his faces was real. And for that he would take whatever the younger would throw at him.

After that night Taehyung's mindset changed entirely. He was well prepared for any and every sort of insult and mockery that he could face which helped a lot since Jungkook didn't disappoint him in that respect. But as they worked together and Taehyung tried to get closer to the younger he started to figure out the small things that no one else did. The things that gave him hope that he was going in the right direction and if he wasn't wrong he might actually be able to get the prize. Jungkook himself. Although it was far fetched but when pieces began to set in the puzzle with the help of his secret of the dominating personality that he showed only to the young model and no one else it became evident to the older that Jungkook was indeed read wrong all this time by everyone. What people thought they knew was what the younger wanted them to know but what happened behind closed doors and in privacy of the two was what the reality was.

Although it took time for it reveal itself, but Jungkook's real face eventually appeared in front of Taehyung and the said male would be damned if he didn't admit that it was all worth it. Jungkook was in fact a cute little toothless tiger just as his manager had said and was very sensitive regarding his feelings which led him to hiding his weakness under the cover of arrogance like his best friend had said. Taehyung was grateful to those two for helping him out and would forever be. For if it wasn't them he might not have been able to find the important missing clues that completed the map to Jungkook's heart.

Taehyung chuckled as he took in a deep breath thinking about all that happened till now leading him to the present situation where Jungkook was lying in his lap cuddled up while watching the movie, looking so soft that Taehyung would rather hold his breath and die than disturb the younger's sleep.

"I love you so much Kookie."

He whispered as his hand kept stroking the soft hair of the other. This was the best night of his life so far. Or rather the best 'clean' night. Because Jungkook has a lot of making up to do for all the trouble he put the older through. It's a good thing the younger's on break for a month because he won't be walking straight for quite some time soon.

Today marked as their first day when they actually acted like a soft mushy couple with Taehyung being able to fluster him every now and then without letting him hide anywhere like he wanted to. In the privacy of the Jeon residence Jungkook didn't feel the need to hide his true feelings anymore. Not for the day at least. How would he react outside later was a different story that he would be putting for publication soon.
