ASHTONS POV

"guess what i brought bitchesss!" ariana says walking out of the kitchen holding a bottle of vodka. "but it's for later." she says winking at calum and kalani. calum and i are pretty good friends but this just made me mad. i try to shove my feelings down but i couldn't. "let's watch a movie." ethan says and everyone groans. "we watch a movie every friday, let's go to the pool." kalani says. "it's closes at 5 and it's 7." harry says. "louis is a lifeguard there, he can get us in." she says winking at harry. i notice harry's cheeks start to flush. "let's do it!" ariana says holding up the bottle. "i'll go ask louis." kalani says standing up. calum stands up after her, "i'll come to." he says grabbing her hand. "yea, uh i'll come too." i say standing up. i don't know why i just said that, shit. she looks up at me and smiles before quickly looking away, "okay." she says walking towards the door. we walk towards the side walk and calum says "who's louis?"

"my friend."

"how'd you meet him."

"on his roof."

"what?" he says making her laugh. she had a really cute laugh. it was like music to my ears causing butterflies in my stomach. "oh it was at night and i went out on my roof and he was on his and we talked a little." she says nervously biting her lip. i can tell she doesn't want him to ask anything about why she was on her roof at night. "why were you on your roof so late?" he asks. i notice her uncomfortable expression, she looks back at me and i just want to hug her right then and there and tell him to go away because nothing matters but her. "didn't you take a nap after school and couldn't sleep?" i say. "oh uh yea, anyways this is his house." she says stopping on the lawn. she walks up to the door and before she can knock it opens, "ello love," louis says. "haven't seen you in the daylight in awhile." she responds smiling. she whispers something in his ear and he starts to blush. "yeah let me get the key." he says walking back into the house. once he comes back out he says, "looks like your two boyfriends came with." he says and she starts to blush. "stop! they aren't my boyfriends." she says hitting him on the arm. "i need to change into my swimsuit, you guys can come in." she says gesturing towards her house. she unlocks the door, "mom?" she yells walking in. she gestures for us to come in, "yes? i leave for work in a few minutes, i won't be back until tomorrow night." her mom shouts. "okay, i'm staying the night at grayson's. i just need to grab something." she says running up the stairs. i've never met or seen her mom before i've only heard stories about her and her dad. "hi i'm kalanis mom, you can call kira." she says looking at the both of us. "hi i'm ashton." i say reaching my hand out. she gives me a dirty look, "i'm louis.", "and i'm calum." they say as she gathers stuff and puts in in her bag. "nice to meet you guys, take care of kalani please. she has been really upset over some boy this week." she says and a pang of guilt hits me. kalani walks down the stairs in shorts and a swimsuit. i notice calum checking her out, "wont you be cold?" i ask. the weather outside wasn't too cold but it was chilly. "no i have my sweatshirt." she says holding up a sweater that says 'gryffindor' i smile at the memory. "ten points to gryffindor." i say smiling. she giggles a little and smiles looking up at me. her smile was the most beautiful smile on earth, words couldn't describe it. after what felt like minutes but was only a few seconds, she broke the gaze between us saying "ready to go?".

"how do we turn this on?" kalani says hitting a few buttons. "shouldn't there just be a button that says hot tub." i respond. "oh there!" we say at the same time, as i move my hand to turn it on my fingers brush over hers and i feel electricity spark through me. there's no way she cant feel it too. of course i regret what i said. i don't know why, tayler is already on another girl and his twig arms could never beat me up. "i'm sorry" i blurt out of nowhere. she looks up at me confused, "what?" she asks biting her lip. every little thing she did was perfect, the way she bit her lip when she was nervous, her perfect little giggle, and her smile, god her smile was like a blessing from above it could light up an entire room. "for what i said on monday, i didn't mean any of it i don't know why i said it. grayson told me you were breaking up with tayler and when i heard him yelling from the cafeteria i went over to make sure you were okay. he got really mad at me and said that i should stay away from him but he's already dating some other girl, and i'm really sorry i should've stood up for you because" i say but pause before finishing my sentence. "because what?" she says her eyes glistening with tears. "you- never mind." i mumble looking down. a tear rolls down her cheek, i wipe it away with my thumb holding her face in my hand. "what's wrong?" i ask and she wraps her small arms around my torso. she was short so her head only came up to my neck. "i don't know, nothing. everythings just hitting me." she says nuzzling her head into my neck. everything clicked into place when we hugged  it was like she was the perfect puzzle piece. "guys hurry up you already turned it on." calum shouts from the front of the building. she pulls away and rolls her eyes at what he says, i feel empty and cold without her touch. we walk over to the hot tub in silence. "here drink some." ariana says handing me the bottle as we sit in the tub. i take the bottle from her and notice kalani sit by calum and ariana. she scoots closer to ariana but gets stopped when calum wraps his arm around her. i take a gulp and flinch at the burning sensation down my throat. i hand the bottle to harry who is sitting in between louis' legs, they looked cute especially because harry is so much taller than louis. i didn't realize how many tattoos louis and harry had, they were cool but not something i had expected them to have. "let's play truth or dare." calum says smirking. "last time i played that was freshman year, what are you gonna dare me to do? prank call my mom?" kalani says laughing. "let's just play." ariana says taking another drink of the bottle. "truth or dare, harry?" kalani says rolling her eyes at ariana. "erm truth." he says nervously. "have you ever fantasized about anyone here, and if you have who?" she says smiling, her smile looked like an angels smile. hardy shifts uncomfortably and louis wraps his arms around his waist and rests his head on harry's shoulder. "who is it love?" he says smirking. harry tilts his head slightly to whisper something in his ear, louis' face gets red and he licks his lips. i think everyone knows what harry says, we all stay silent for a minute. "okay uh truth or dare ashton?" i think about it a moment. "truth" i say looking at ariana. "ugh lame," she says pausing for a moment "would you say you have a bit of a crush on kalani?" she says looking at me then kalani. i run my hand through my hair, "maybe." i say looking down at my lap. i look up and see kalani smiling at me, her perfect angel smile. "you guys sound like middle schoolers." ethan says, to be honest i kind of forgot he was there. "truth or dare e?" kalani asks smirking a little. "dare, i'm no pussy like you guys." he responds running his hand through his wet hair. "i dare you to kiss ari." she says flat out. her smirk grows into a perfect smile as both of their cheeks blushed. "i fucking hate you" ariana says to her before turning her head to ethans. they both awkwardly lean in and kiss each other. i look away uncomfortably to see kalani laughing her ass off. her laugh was adorable, i gave her a small smile and her cheeks tint a light pink before looking down. "grayson, truth or dare?" ethan asks smirking. "truth," he mumbles out nervously. "pussy." ethan says before rubbing the back of his neck. he looks up at kalani then back to grayson, "how far have you and kalani gone with each other? sexually." he says as the corners of his mouth lift into a sly smirk, being honest i wanted to hear what he had to say. there was no doubt that there was a little bit of sexual tension between the two. i notice kalanis face was a deep scarlet color, i instantly felt guilty for wanting to know. "erm uh, well pretty much everything." he finally says running his hand through his hair and kalani hides her face behind her ear. "what?" ethan says not hiding the surprise in his face. "i even thought she was a virgin." calum says rubbing the back of his neck. they all laugh, i'm too shocked to do anything. i mean nothing wrong with it but they were basically friends fuck buddies. she plays with the end of her hair as calam speaks up, "truth or dare kalani?" he says scooting closer to her i can't help the jealousy inside of me. "uh dare." she says nervously. "i dare you to kiss the hottest person here." he says smirking. i see her face redden, she thinks about it for a second looking around. a small smirk appears on her face as she kisses the back of her hand. calum gives her a confused look, "you told me to kiss the hottest person here, and that's me." she says jokingly. i cant help but laugh, she was so cute. "that's not fair." calum laughs. we continue the somewhat uneventful game for the next few hours. at this point i can tell that kalani has had too much to drink.

"i'm sleepy, can we cuddle?" she says sitting by me on the couch. "sure," i say looking around at the empty room. "also, ehm can i wear your shirt. i'm cold and my clothes are uncomfortable." she says tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear. i was taller and had much more of a built figure than hers, she was a dancer so she was strong but a lot smaller compared to me. i take off my shirt and hand it to her, "turn around." she says giggling. "of course your majesty."

i lightly rub at kalanis scalp while playing with her hair. she looks back up at me and shifts slightly in my arms, "what are you doing?" she says smiling. "oh uh- nothing sorry i just" she says before cutting me off. "no it's fine, it felt nice. even though it's like 11 and we should probably get up." she says looking down. her eyelashes flutter against her cheekbones, causing butterflies to ignite in my stomach. she starts to stand up but before she can i grab her waist and pull her down into my chest. i tickle her sides causing her adorable giggle, she squirms around giggling "ashy! no!" she says between laughs. i cant help but smile at how adorable and carefree she looks. i can tell she slept through the night without nightmares. i don't know if she's been getting better, but i feel like every time she's with me she sleeps through the night. she finally breaks free of my grasp and flips her self over, our faces are almost touching. i feel her hot breathe against my lips , she runs her hand through my hair slightly tugging at the ends, i love the way she plays with my hair, it sends an electric shock through my body. i let out a light moan, she smiles before slightly leaning in. our lips slightly brush against each other, her lips felt like fire against mine. as our lips are about to connect she drags her tongue against my cheek. "noo, ew!" i shout playfully. she stands up reaching her hand out for mine. as our fingers lace between each others i cant help the feeling in my bones as our skin touches. "i wanna take it slow, like we just met." she says pulling me up off the couch. "what?" i ask grabbing her waist and pulling her against my chest. i was a lot taller than her, the top of her head barely reached my chin. it was like we were perfect for each other. she looks up and as her eyes meet mine i notice she looks upset. "i fell hard for you, and only in 3 months. i want to start it over again, i wanna get to know you." she says nervously pulling her lip in between her teeth. i pull her into my chest, "then that we shall do." i say grabbing her hand and twirling her around in a circle. "so do i just pretend like i don't know you." i say walking into the kitchen. "no, i mean. i just wanna take it slow and get to know you before anything happens." she says following after me. she wraps her arms around my waist, she presses her cheek into the back of my neck, "thank you." she says pressing a small cheek on my jawline. "for what?". she runs her hand through my hair, "helping me sleep at night." she whispers into my ear. "you guys are so cute, but it's making me feel really single." grayson says walking in and grabbing an apple. i cant help the tinge of jealousy as i notice kalanis eyes linger on his bare chest. "i think everyone in this house is single, well maybe not your parents but still." she says pulling away from her embrace around my back. "did you guys finally work through everything that happened?" he asks looking between the both of us. i look over at her to see a smile plastered across her face. she slowly nods, "yea we did." i finally answer.

i had so much fun writing the cute parts skksks even though they are probably terrible it's fine. also i'm starting a harry series called sisters bestfriend so yayy. vote and comment, all the love s.
