It's early friday morning the sun peaked between the blinds. Kiana woke up with only one thing on her mind, Danny. While she brushed her teeth her mind began to wonder.

Why wasn't he answering her phone calls? Did she say or do something wrong? Does he even want to be bothered by her?

All these thoughts and emotions overcame her body, as she stared into the bathroom mirror. Maybe he just wasn't attracted to her in that way she thought, putting her hair up into a bun searching for imperfections in her appearance.

Nonetheless she Made her way into the kitchen to share the only moment she and her mother have throughout the day, breakfast.

Kiana poured a bowl of Frosted Flakes, her mother had toast with some butter smeared atop of them. They always sat in silence, never would acknowledge each other's existence.

Shortly after she walked back into her room. Took a deep sigh of boredom before laying in bed phone in hand, searching through Instagram as music played through the speakers.

A notification rang over the music, a new message from Anthony.

Anthony: morning sleeping beauty, what you have planned today?

Kiana: nothing really at home bored.

Anthony: We should hang out, I'll come pick you up we can go for a walk through the park.

Kiana: I don't know...

Anthony: look just say yes this one time, if you don't enjoy yourself you never have to see me again. I'd really like to see you.

Kiana: ok fine

Anthony: Wait was that a yes, I was not expecting that caught me off guard.

Kiana: lol hurry up before I change my mind.

Anthony: haha...I'll pick you up in an hour.

She didn't understand why she was so excited and jittery about this. Maybe the fact that somebody is showing a genuine interest in her, she cared for Danny but he has been cold ever since their date.

There was no time to overthink the situation so she quickly got ready.

She had very little to no makeup, nice long false eyelashes to compliment her eyes, tight black jean shorts to show off her curves, a grey Chicago Bulls sweater fitted loosely, hair Curly and bouncy as ever. She wanted to look good but comfortable.

The sound of honking could be heard outside her window, a yellow 2018 Dodge Challenger GT was parked out front.

Kiana grabbed her hand bag before heading out, took one last look in the mirror then made her way to the car parked out front.

"Wow you look great I'm glad you decided to come."

"Just don't make me regret giving you a chance." After Kiana uttered those words she couldn't help but stare at him.

His eyes were dark black but glistened when the light hit them, purely white smile, light black skin, a little stubble over his upper lip and throughout his jaw line.

She thought he was gorgeous but that was the problem, he has a reputation of being a womanizer so she knew better then to let her guard down.

He caught her staring at him making her look away, but it definitely put a smile on his face and he wasn't afraid to show it.

They made it to Midwest Park, it was just a long dirt trail that ran through the forest, it was a popular hiking spot in the city.
