I don't think Shi's character really had a chance to manifest itself into this story. This chapter you will see things through her point of view, so here is a look through her eyes.
Shi's POV

Shi is woken up by her phone alarm set to 4am. She got up and sat on the side of the bed, rubbing her hair which was a complete mess while she quickly looked through her phone.
She had on a black tank top with blue and black striped panties. Her room was small full of hip hop and bikini model posters. Besides her bed she had a dresser at the edge of her bed full of clothes, and another table off to the side with stacks upon stacks of CD's. She didn't have anywhere else put it so her stereo system laid on the floor, next to the table of CD's. Shi was an old soul she would go back to the 90's if she could.
After she was done scanning through her phone she slowly trudged to the bathroom, and took a hot shower, among all the other morning essentials.
Shi walked back into her room with just a towel wrapped around her body. She crouched down popped in 50 cent's get rich or die tryin CD, and pressed play.
She took her time getting dressed rapping along to the music. Shi put on a grey t shirt, blue acid washed jeans, blue timberland boots, a black bomber jacket, and a black hat to top off the outfit.
Once she finished getting ready she walked into her mothers room.
"Ma get up let's go it's almost time for work." Her mother just moaned and groaned in the bed.
"Ma it's the first day of school I'm not going to be here to wake you up later, so get up!"
"Ok ok I heard you, go wake up your brother for school."
Shi happily did as she was told heading into her little brothers room. She grabbed the blankets and yanked them off the bed, her brother fell on the floor.
"Shi what the fuck!" She didn't pay him no mind leaving his room yelling out to her mom, "he's up!"
She made coffee for her mom. Also placed a empty bowl with a spoon on the table, with cereal next to it for her brother.
"I'm going to meet Kiana at her house so I'll see you guys later!" Shi yelled as she grabbed her backpack and walked out the front door.
Shi took a seat on Kiana's porch waiting for her to come out to walk to school together, headphones in listening to music. Kiana walked out wearing black jeans shorts, a yellow shirt, with black sneakers.
