ABDALLAH09 this is for you bro.❤

Time flies..

Days rolled into weeks.

I hardly left my room, made sure the fridge in there is filled with all the canned-foods i needed including chocolates, biscuits and juices.

Junk foods
I know its not healthy, but i have no other option.

I stayed and waited for Daddy's return.
Sounds like a movie, huh?

Asabe never checked on me, atleast to see whether i'm still alive or dead.

My phone was not of much importance to me, who should i contact? I am not that social media type, not a single account on any!

21st century...poor me!

I check my mails for updates from school.

Hello, i've got an email! And that too for academic purpose.

I had no dream for the future despite studying a Bachelor's Degree in 'African-languages'.

No Future Ambition--NFA

"Haba husnah! I've been expecting your call since last week, kince zaki kirani!" Afeeya complained on phone.

Afeeya, my coursemate at school.

"Yi haquri Afeeya, i completely forgot" i lied.

Foolish me!

The fact is Afeeya have been trying to be close to me since Day1 at school, if i had given her a chance, we could've been the best of friends! But no.

Why?
You'll not understand.

"Shikenan husna, ya Abuja?" She asked.

Allah sarki Afeeya.

"Alhamdulillah, ya gida?" I managed to ask.
"Lafiya" she said and continued "Husna, when will you visit me ne? Come lets chill!"

This girl is definitely mad!

"Please, don't say no" she pleaded.

Seriously?

"Okay, i'll talk to my father about it" i said without thinking.
"Yeeee" she shouted excitedly.

Did i just said yes or what?

And that's how our conversation ended with Afeeya with her hope of me coming to visit her soon.

I slept after watching an indian movie 'Jab Harry met Sejal' starring Sharukhan and Anushka Sharma.

I wanted fresh air, so i decided to go out. I was suprised to see Hassana and Hussaina in the house on my way out.

Hassana da Hussaina are Asabe's daughters from her last marriage.

She was a divorcee when she got married to dad.

And from what i once heard, the twin's father was not her first husband, she had other marriages before him.

Infact, countless marriages.

Hussaina came towards me smiling immediately she saw me.

"Husna, daama kina nan?" She asked lovingly.

She's so sweet.

"Ina nan Hussaina,yaushe kuka zo?"

"Jiya,ya makaranta?" She continued, trying to keep the conversation on.

Hassana interrupted.

"Ke Hussaina Umma tana kiranki" she called angrily! And threw me a very dirty look.

I was'nt expecting less dama.

"Later husna, zanzo dakinki" she said in a whisper and left.

I smiled.

Hussaina is a very smart girl, she's being nice to me all the way while Hassana is the exact carbon-copy of their mother, Asabe.

In terms of their attitude towards me of course. They don't give a damn!

The birds sang as leaves rustle, The gentle evening breeze made the atmosphere very comfortable. I strolled through the streets of the quiet base.

Life, i thought.

I was at a point where i don't exactly know who i actually am. It feels like somebody is playing the most useless game on the planet with my life. Astagfirullah..
Allahumma innaka affuwun, Tuhibbul affuwa, Fu'afu_anni.

"...Asma'u have faith in Allah...be strong" Ummi's words rang in my ears.

Those words are my only strength!
I smiled after remembering my mother.

The Adhaan for Magrib was called as i was passing-by. I entered the female part of the mosque without hesitating and prayed in congregation. The Imam did some preaching after Saalat.

MashaAllah, learned alot from it.

I hurried my way back home as it was getting dark, my mind was lighter, Alhamdulillah.

I salaamed as i entered the living room, The twins and their mother were there.

Only Hussaina answered.

I greeted Asabe and she ignored completely.
"Mama, husna na gaishe ki!" Hussaina said.
"Sai kuma akai me? And then so what! Munafukar banza munafukar wofi" she replied angrily.

At that point, i seriously don't know who she's referring to as 'munafuka'.

"Gaskiya Umma bai dace ba!" Hussaina said, stood and left.
"To uwarta, sai ki dau mataki, do something about it" Asabe shouted at her.

"Umma ki qyaleta, she's an idiot" Hassana chipped in.

All that while, i have been standing like a fixed statue. Watching them like one hausa drama 'Dadin kowa'.

Asabe said nothing afterwards, but heard her hissed as i walked past her. Hassana said something that made her laughed too.

What a house.
