Astrid was sitting on the couch looking through Hiccup's old sketchbook. There were amazing sketches in it. She had a little trouble seeing them because the sun wasn't completely up yet. But she could still tell how skilled he was.
Eventually Hiccup sauntered downstairs. He saw Astrid on the couch and plopped down next to her.
"Hiccup teach me to draw." Astrid said immediately.
"Huh?" He asked, puzzled.
"You're so good at drawing. Show me. You're sketches are amazing Hiccup."
Hiccup then noticed his sketchbook in her hand. He chuckled.
"They aren't that good Astrid."
"Pleeeaaaasssseee."
Hiccup took Astrid's hand, raised it up to his lips and kissed it.
"Alright. Come on." He pulled Astrid with him and they went to the forge.
Hiccup sat Astrid down at his seat and slid a pencil and paper in front of her.
"Ok see that dragon sleeping over there?" Hiccup pointed out of the window.
"Yea."
"Draw that. Draw what you see."
So Astrid picked up the pencil and began sketching the sleeping dragon.
"Agh. This is hard. My lines don't go the way I want them to."
Hiccup chuckled. He stepped behind Astrid and kissed her on the cheek.
"Practice makes perfect milady." He reached over and took Astrid's hands into his. He held the pencil with her in one hand, and just held her other hand.
Hiccup guided her hand to sketch out the dragon until it was finished.
Astrid gasped. "Wow. I can actually tell it's a dragon."
Hiccup chuckled. "Come here you." He pulled her out of the chair and straight into a kiss. Well, things escalated. And let me tell ya. Gobber was not pleased when he discovered there was no work done at the forge that morning.Sorry it's so short guys. I'm on vacation and really busy. But I'm trying to get a chapter out here and there:)
