Astrid awoke to a throbbing head. "Hiccup?"
"You're ok, you're ok. I'm right here."
Astrid sat up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She was very unsteady so Hiccup held onto her arm just in case.
"Be careful Astrid. Vigo cut you really deep and you lost a lot of blood. Fishlegs says you'll have to stay in bed for a couple of days. And you can't get your bandages wet no matter what, or you might start bleeding again."
"Hiccup I'm fine." She gasped when she realized Stormfly wasn't by her side. "Stormfly! I need to get to her!" She jumped out of bed and ran for the door.
"Astrid!" Hiccup caught up to her and held her back just as she reached the stairs. "Stormfly is fine. You really need to rest. I don't want you to lose any more blood."
Astrid shoved her bangs out of her eyes. "Hiccup I- I'm fine." She protested.
Hiccup crossed his arms. "Really? Because you're stuttering and you look like you're about to throw up."
"R-Really I'm fine."
Hiccup shook his head. "I'm not buying it. Come on. You need rest." Hiccup led Astrid back to her bed.
"Hiccup my head really hurts." Astrid complained.
"I'm sure it does. I'll go see if Fishlegs has anything that might help ok? I'll be right back." Hiccup kissed the top of her head and left the room.
Astrid rolled over and tried to get some sleep. "I hate people." She groaned to herself. "But I guess not all people are bad."
