Cliche #11 - when the characters speak in another language and the author doesn't bother to translate
So this is similar to the last chapter about google translate, but in this one the author doesn't bother to translate the different language so the reader is left in confusion and has to google what it means.
Example:
(I'm using google translate cause I'm a loser and not fluent in any language but English)
"Hola bienvenido a mi casa," I said to my study partner as he took off his shoes and placed them neatly on the shelf. He has been helping me with my Spanish and he told me to only speak in that language until I got better at it.
He gave me a bright smile. "Tu espanol esta mejorando."
