Chapter 43: Truth

♪Isabella's POV♪

"Isabel sweet heart we have been waiting for this day forever-" that woman said and tried to touch me but I moved away.

"I have no mother, I think you are mistaken" I said trying to blink away the tears.

"I know it must be confusing and sound impossible right now but if you just let me explain-" the man said but I cut him off.

"Diego tell me you were joking. What kind of sick jock is this, you know how I hate people playing with my feelings now why are you doing this. She is my Aunt not my mother" I cried as i stood in front of him.

"Honey you know I would never hurt you that way. I don't know how but they are your parents" he said and I wrapped my hands around him and cried into his chest.

"Tell me it's a lie,tell me that I haven't been living a lie all my life TELL ITS A LIE please" I said then pulled away from him.

"Kitten what-" Antonio started as I turned to the woman then cut him off.

"I have no parents and you can't change that, this must be another trick by Edward and Charlie to get to me" I said as I began to laugh.

"Isabel what are you talking about" she asked.

"How much did he pay you. I can double any amount he paid but don't do this" I said and they looked hurt by my words.

"No one paid us" he said and Antonio held onto my waist from behind.

"Kitten they are not lying. You aren't in your right frame of mind let go upstairs -"

"No Antonio this must be Charlie's plan"

"Please would you leave here for now I don't want this to affect my kitten. Raymond please tell one of the guards to take them home" Antonio said still holding onto me as I cried.

"We will leave but if you decided  you want to know the whole truth here is my card" that man said then dropped a card on the table and walked away.

As soon as they left I collapsed to the floor crying out loud. 17 years of my life has been a lie. How was this possible. I had so many questions in my head but I was scared to know  the truth.

"Oh Isabel" Gabriel said as she sat next to me on the floor.

"Gabriel my entire life has been a lie. I don't know what to believe and what not" I cried and she rubbed my back.

"I know it's hard but we will figure it out some how" she said and I nodded.

"I just wish this would be all just a nightmare because if it isn't it raises the question why. Why did they show up now in this point of my life" I cried my tears hitting the floor.

"How is this possible Diego" Antonio asked and I heard Diego sigh.

"I don't know how, I'm as confused as everyone. Their life wasn't hard to dig through,I had someone look into the matter the moment they told us they were related to Isabel and he found Isabel's birth certificate with their names there as her parents which clearly prove that they are her parents. Their DNA matches,there is no denying that all the facts prove they are her parents" Diego said as I continued to cry.

"But why would they give her up then come back for her after 17 years it just doesn't add up" Ray said.

"No it doesn't" Roberto said.

"Diego you and Fran dig more into this and keep an eye on them, Roberto find out if they have had any connection with Charlie or Edward" Antonio said then they all agreed.
