Chapter 45: Break up

"Isabella open the door, please let's talk it out" I heard Diego shout on the other side of the door.

"You've been crying in there for two hours now please open up" ray shouted banging on the door but I made no attempt to move from my spot.

I was heart broken,it's like I lost all the feeling in body. I sat numb on the cold floor crying. Hoping that everything that happened was nothing but a nightmare.

"Isabella, if you don't open up we will be forced to break down this door" Diego warned but I just continued staring at the wall.

"Isabella" ray called one more time.

A short while later the door was open. They didn't break it down, they just used a spare key.

They both rushed to me and sat down next to me. My cheeks were stained with tears. My eyes were blood shot from crying too much.

"Hey baby doll what happened" Ray asked.

"Antonio broke up with me" I said and the room fell dead silent.

"How,why,when" Ray asked trying to process everything.

"Isabel please tell us what's going on. Antonio is nowhere to be seen in the house"Diego asked.

" it all started this morning......... "I started as my tears fell freely.

Let me take you back to what happened that dreadful day I wish was just a lie.

I woke up still pretty upset and ignored Antonio through out breakfast and possibly anyone who tried to bring up the topic of my parents.

It was a Saturday so I wanted to spend my entire day in the garden reading away and just have time to think about what I should do.

Three hours had passed by as I sat on the swing. I thought back to everything I had to endure to get to this point. A lot had happened.

If my real parents had been there from the start till then,where would my life be. My life would have probably turned out differently, I wouldn't have been abused. I would have had friends at school and a normal teen life, with normal teen problem. But they weren't there and my life turned out like it was.

I was too deep in thought that I didn't notice Antonio walk up to me. I only noticed him when he sat down next to me making the swing to move back slightly.

"Kitten why are you doing this to yourself"he asked and I sighed.

" I want some alone time "I said trying to ignore him.

" I know you kitten more than you think even if you don't want to show it"he said and I looked away.

"You may know me inside out but you still won't be able to understand" I said.

"You are scared to let them in because you think they will turn out like-"I cut him off before he could continue

"Don't say their names" I said angrily.

"How do you expect to move forward if you don't let go of your past. Admit you are scared" he said and I stood up then faced him.

"Yes I'm scared, I can't handle anymore, Antonio I don't want to take that risk. Why I'm I the one to always suffer. I wanted a normal life, a normal family but it's too late for that so why should I even try" I said as tears filled my eyes and he stood up.

"Isabel I understand how you must be feeling but just give them a fucking chance" he said. Wait he referred to me as Isabel, was he seriously angry at me.
