Chapter 54:The past

♥ Gabriel's POV♥

After some time of fear that my past was coming back to me,I was back to myself. I didn't want to experience all I had to go through back in mexico.

To brighten my mood, I went with playing loud music. So I put on my track list and just started jumping up and down my bed singing along and shaking my hips to the music.

I'd been dancing for a quiet a while. I was felling kind of tired. I was about to go turn off the music when I lost my balance.

I almost fell to the ground but my hero caught me in his arms. I wrapped my hands around him And a smile made a way to my lips.

"Honey you are back" I said then planted a kiss on his lips.

"I need to talk to you" Diego said placing me on my feet.

"Oh god, Diego you are bleeding" I said when I saw his bloody hand.

"Why didn't you tell me about the son of a bitch bothering you" he said making my mouth shut.

"How did you find out" I asked then my eyes widened.
"Isabel, how dare she-"

"So you are saying if she didn't say anything to me you would have kept it a secret" he asked angrily.

"It's not what I meant. I just didn't want you to worry I'll handle it myself this time" I said turning my back towards him.

"Gabriel what's going on with you. It's me Diego, why are you treating me like a stranger" he asked grabbing my arm then turn me around.

"Because I don't want to worry anyone about this,I can take care of it" I said and he frowned his eyes brows.

"When? Huh, when this situation gets out of hand,when the press starts harassing you again,when you isolate yourself from everyone" he said and I got out of his hold.

"Diego-" I started but he cut me off.

"It was you keeping quiet like this that made situations get to the point they did. You refused yo acknowledge anyone about it-" this time I cut him off.

"Please listen-"I started but alas i was cut off yet again.

" do you think we enjoy seeing you in pain, to see how much you suffer. We are here to help you we love you. I love you and seeing you like this just breaks me "he said and I hugged him.

"I know babe. I'm sorry,OK fine I'll leave you with the job to find him" I said trying to cheer him up but he pulled away.

"Weather you gave me permission or not, I'll still find who is behind this before Isabel and Laura's fight" he said then walked away.

Diego was not one to take everything seriously but when he did,he would become obsessed with it.

And knowing him I knew he'd have gone all out for me. Some times I wondered where my life would have been if I never met him.

He was sweet,funny and caring. My life without him would have been so boring and dull.

I sighed then decided on going to the gym to blow off some steam. When I got there I found Laura punching a dummy.

"Hey Gabriel" she said with a bit of an Indian accent.

Laura wasn't bad it's just that she had mega trust issues. She thinks everyone as friendly and quite as Isabel must have been planning something bad.

Her mother trusted people so easily and it led to her death, so Laura promised herself never to trust people so blindly.

I knew Antonio had a big reason behind setting off this match. He must have been planning something to show Laura Isabel was trustworthy.
