~ Chapter 4: Secrets Are Our Past ~

It was a dream, a dream that turned into a nightmare.

A nightmare that filled up my past.

A nightmare where it unlocked all my secrets.

A nightmare where my secrets are my past.

"So, I was thinking why don't we head out tonight. You know so we can get to know each other better and stuff.  After all, it is the start of the weekend and I wanna get out of the house", Scar says as she starts to pack her bag.

I took a look at the clock and a minute was left till we all were dismissed from school. I grabbed my things off the table and started to gently place them into my bag.

"I'm in, girlfriend. I need a break as well. Plus Shade can finally meet my boyfriend.  Also, I think this could make our relationship better!", Zach replies as he sets his hair to the side.

Driing

I looked up at the clock and noticed it at 4:00 p.m. I slouched my bag onto my shoulder and started to head out of the classroom when someones clammy hand held onto my arm. The persons hand jolted my body to stop and forced me to turn around.

"Girl. I'm so sorry. I've been writing shit down the whole class so my hands are a bit sweaty.", Zach said as he lets go of my arm and rubbed his hand against his hip.

"Oh it's okay, she definitely gave us a shit ton of work to do today. So, is there a reason why you stopped me?", I said as I looked out of the window noticing Parker walk out of the Drama room.

Scar holds onto her bag and walks towards us. She grabs her phone from her pocket and starts typing on it.

Bing

I reach for my back pocket to pull my phone out. I notice a text on the group chat called the "Three Stooges". I notice a message from Scar that reads an address.

"So, I guess it's settled. We'll meet at the address I sent y--", I interrupted Scar before she adds more onto her sentence.

"Wait, what's going on? I'm confused right now.  Are we meeting up or something?", I asked with concern.

"You blanked out again, didn't you?", Scar asked.

"No, I was too distracted doing that crap assignment that I wasn't listening to anyone. To be honest it's my bad I wasn't listening. But my ears are now opened.", I said with a subtle tone.

"Well, we were planning on meeting up tonight so that way we can get to know each other better as well as get out of the house because its freaking boring, so you in?", Scar explains.

I start to walk towards the door as Zach and Scar follow. "Yes, I'm in.", I said as I looked back at Scar while opening the door. I turn back in the direction of the door and bump into someone. I stand up straight and notice a familiar presence in front of me. It was Parker.

"Hi.", Parker said as he looked at my friends.

"Hey.", I replied.

Scar pulled onto my backpack to make me move back to her. "One sec," I said to Parker and then turned quickly to Scar.

"Holy shit! You know this dude, he's like a freaking dreamer. That smile on his face could just make my heart melt.", Scar whispers as she scans Parker from top to bottom.

"Yeah.. I know him...", I try to say without feeling awkward. I turn back to Parker as he reaches out to me and pulls me by the arm over to the side.

"Excuse me?", I say as he lets go of my arm.

"You were blocking the doorway, so I pulled you over", He says gesturing my friends that their blocking the door. Zach and Scar quickly move towards where Parker and I are standing.

"Um. I came to see you", Parker said as he looked at me. "I wanted to ask if you were busy tonight, because I thought maybe we could hang out, so we could get to know each other better."

The second I was about to answer his question, Scar quickly answers it for me. "You know, we are meeting up tonight so maybe you could tag along". I quickly look down at my shoes to avoid any sort of eye contact.

"If Shade's okay with me joining, then I'll definitely come", Parker says while looking at Scar. I slowly look up to face Zach and nod my head.

"Well I think she's okay with you joining, so we'll see you then", Zach says as he eyes me to walk away with him. I start to trail off with Zach while Scar and Parker chat their way down the hallway.
