The bright sunlight shone on me at 6:32 am. I stretched my body on the bed before I got off. Last night's sleep was very comfortable. The mattress of this bed made you feel like you were laying on a cloud.
Buzz
At first, I was confused as to where that noise was coming from. Then I looked down at my watch. School at 7:15!! It was currently 6:35 so I quickly ran downstairs to dad's and Mikey's bedroom level to use the bathroom before Mikey could get in.
I took off my clothes and stepped into the shower. Cobwebs were the first thing I noticed. I wrapped a towel around my self and stepped out of the shower. Sprayed water on the cobwebs so they would flow down the drain. I stepped back in and turned the shower on, the water was cold as it hit my back.
So cold I turned the tap to the middle, the water was now perfect though it was hard. Splashes of water hit my back as if this were the first time this shower worked. The waters force was hard so I stepped a bit forward. I shampooed my hair, then washed it out.
The shampoo colour was red as I rubbed it onto my scalp it turned white, though drips of red shampoo began to hit the shower floor. I could hear the shower drizzle onto the floor like rain.
There I was back in that moment. The rain was pouring hard on me as I dashed towards the red puddle on the road. I dropped down on my knees and tried to pick her up in my arms.
I looked at her, and my eyes started to water up. Tears rapidly rolled down my eyes, blood covered my white pants and navy blue shirt. Soon the sirens went off and people started to drag her away, she slowly slipped out of my arms. I screamed No, no, Nooo! Quickly crawling towards her as she was being dragged away, the rain became heavier. I wanted them to stop, but they didn't.
Dragging her over the wet ground, I tried to chase after her, but I couldn't because my pants got caught onto the cover of the manhole. And she was gone, gone before my eyes.
I couldn't control my eyes, tears just kept rolling down. My hands were clenched together as blood covered it. Slowly opening my hand a locket was being held. I opened the locket, and saw a picture with her and me...
I screamed as loud as I could.. I snapped back from that terrifying memory. I turned the shower tap off an ran upstairs with a towel wrapped around me. I ran up to my room and water dripped from my hair creating a trail.
I changed into a black hoodie and dark navy blue ripped jeans. I grabbed my bag and placed my phone in my back pocket. I walked downstairs and to the kitchen. Dad and Mikey were sitting down around the island and are some breakfast. There was a travel mug placed on top of the island.
"Does it have tea in it?" I asked.
"Yes, honey it's for you" Dad answered.
I grabbed the travel mug and sat next to Mikey. Mikey ate his toast and turned towards me.
"You ready for high-school", Mikey asked me.
I nodded and sipped my tea. It was 6:56 am. I walked out the house and said bye to Mikey and my dad. I pulled my phone out from my back pocket and plugged in my earphones.
I walked down the pathway in the direction of my new school.
