Forgiving and Defeating

Petra's P.O.V:

We are all listening to Lukas' plan for how to catch Gill, it's a pretty good one too.

"So my idea is that we use Aiden as bait, since Gill is friends with him maybe we could attack at the right time." Lukas describes the plan more and I actually like it, but one problem.

I suggest to Lukas, "Though we technically all were against Aiden, and we threw him in jail. He might not want to listen to us, but I know who he will listen to." I grin, I think they know what I mean. Of course it's Jesse.

"But she is still in the hospital, we will have to wait." Olivia states. Everyone nods in agreement and Axel, who is actually being smart for once, adds, "We have already seen Gill's identity, so now it will make it easier for us to get him, what if they already left?"

"Screw that, then Gill could be someone else's problem." I say back, mostly joking, I think. Then I add, "But if Aiden does stay, then we'll here the screams of terrified people that he is robbing." (👿😱Geez Petra, so morbid XD)

"I guess it is worth a shot, we can go check at the hospital to see when Jesse is coming back." Lukas finishes the plan and we head out.

Lukas' P.O.V:

I really like my plan, but the problem is, I don't like the fact on how comfortable Aiden feels around her. And they kissed! I love Jesse, I wish Jesse would see that she doesn't deserve Aiden. Yes, I guess he is a changed man, but I still love her. I loved her since the first season on episode 1.

We head into the room and I see Jesse, she is looking pretty great now. Petra and Olivia are talking to the doctor, while me and Axel are just chilling next to Jesse.

Axel says to me, "Aw man, Gill is such a punk. Jesse would be fine if he didn't do that." I frown too and say, "I agree, I just can't believe what Gill is doing period. I thought they always depended on Aiden." Axel gasps and I ask, "What's up?"

He looks at me and says, "They did depend on Aiden, what if they don't anymore? Aiden himself didn't even know." Man, when did Axel get so smart?

"I guess that could be an idea... but lets hope that they still are friends. I think they are." I say that trying to reassure Axel that the plan of getting Aiden would work, but I was mostly reassuring myself.

Petra and Olivia come back and Petra says, "Jesse is done at the end of the day tomorrow, if all goes well." 'Let's hope all goes well.'

*** time skip to the end of the day ***

Jesse's P.O.V:

I blink a few times. Try to sit up, but my body doesn't want to move, so I just lay there. They finally woke me up I guess. The nurses ask me if I need help sitting up, I nod yes. I sit up and I hear a knock on the door, the doctor goes to open it and my friends come in.

Lukas excitedly says, "Ah, Jesse! You're awake. How do you feel?"

I tell them, "Well, I think I'm doing okay. Thankfully I didn't need any stitches." Petra just gets to the point of their plan and she whispers, so the nurses and doctors don't hear her, "We have a plan on how to stop Gill. We need to take you to the treehouse."

I nod but state, "I can't exactly walk very well, my legs are numb." Lukas says, "Oh, I can carry yo-" I interrupt him, "I can manage." I get up and we get in the car.

Once we head to the treehouse, everyone explains the plan.

"Guys, brilliant." I exclaim, and add, "Let's head to the prison to ask him."
