3rd P.O.V:

A brand new day, which what Jesse always says, a brand new start.  Heading outside to catch the breeze, she enjoyed the fresh sights of her city.  Jesse never had a moment to acknowledge everything she has done.

I can't believe I did all this from the beginning of being nobodies.  Skipping around, she greeted the citizens with a friendly, warm smile.  Hearing the laughter of her villagers ringing in her ears brought joy to Jesse.  Momentarily she felt a bit of peace, but then she remembered the reason why she was heading to Aiden's place.  Eventually, she realized that Lukas and her would stay better friends, best friends maybe.  Still skipping to Aiden's house, she was thinking about Lukas' face when she rejected him.

Flash back***

"I'm sorry Lukas, but we should stay friends."  Jesse had told him, shuffling around unable to contain her nerves.  He just stood their idol, his head down.
"Oh, y-yeah.  That's-I guess- okay.  Does this mean you and Aiden are going to be a-a thing?"  He stumbled on his words Jesse noticed and she replied truthfully, "If he accepts me."
"And what if he doesn't"
"Guess we'll have to see."  She replied sharply, and walked away.  It'd be awkward if she went crawling back to him after getting rejected by Aiden anyways.

Jesse couldn't help but feel a pain of pity for Lukas.  Her feet in the same rhyme, pitter patter pitter patter off the gravel she made it to Aiden's.

"Here goes nothing."

Knock
Knock

Waiting a few moments, she was about to knock again but she accidently hit Aiden when the door opens.

"OH GOD, sorry!"  Pulling her hand away, she put it behind her back, blushing.  A little bit of awkward silence passes and then Aiden barks out, "What do you want?"

Taken aback, Jesse frowns, "I wanted to talk to you."

"About what?  You want to rub it in my face that you and Lukas are dating?"  He replied sharply, and Jesse spoke to fast to hear what he said.

"I wanted to tell you-wait what?"

"Lukas told me."

"Lukas and I aren't dating."

"Yeah right, you can go now if you're going to lie directly into my face."

"Excuse me?!  I'm being honest!!  Lukas is lying."

Jesse tries to persuade Aiden that Lukas was lying but he slams the door.  Using her fast reflexes, she put her foot in the way.  Now I have a broken toe for this.

She stumbles back in pain and Aiden says, "Geez, I'm sorry.."  He didn't sound too sorry.

"I don't give a crap about my foot, I just want you to hear me."  Her heart starts to swell up when he has a look of doubt on his face.  Trying but failing she was about to walk away but Aiden stops her.

"Fine."  He opens the door wide enough to let her in, having a slightly cold look into his eyes, "I'll hear you out."

--le time skip--

"So you're saying Lukas was lying about that?  Well, what did you want to talk to me about?"  Aiden says, looking at her.  His lime eyes watching her curiously.

"Well, I wanted to tell you that I do really like you.  A lot, but it was hard because I had something for Lukas as well."

"I just didn't want you to pick me if you weren't happy with me, but I didn't want you to be with him because I wasn't happy, and-"

Jesse pulls him over and their lips meet, Aiden's first in shock but he kisses back.  It's only for a second they kissed, but it feels like a lifetime.  Then they part, feeling slightly awkward.

Feeling dazed, Jesse gets up to leave.  Aiden opens the door for her but before Jesse left, he stammered, "There's this restaurant down the street if you-"
"I'd love to."  Walking away, she left Aiden baffled.

Walking into the treehouse, she slips down and sighs heavenly.  Grumbling from a distance, she peeks around into the kitchen and sees Lukas mad.

"Lukas, you should go get some fresh air."  Jesse suggests, but Lukas glares at her.

"I can't believe you chose that dimwit, slush brain instead of me."

"Lukas, FYI, we are just friends.  Get that in your head."  Jesse says, but then she started singing.

"Oh, ohhh.  Ohhhh.  Oh.  Ohhhh, ohhh."  Lukas sat there in confusion but she ignores him and continued to sing. (He's probably just like 'what the f***')

"You say you love me, I say you crazy."  Lukas' brow went up in confusion, "We're nothing more than friends.  Your not my lover, more like a brother.  I known you since we were like 10."

"Yeah, don't mess it up, talking that shit.  Only going to push me away that's it!  When you said you love me, that made me crazy."  Jesse poked at his chest, "Here we go again."

"Don't go look at me with that look in your eye!"
"You really ain't going away without a fi-i-ight."
"You can't be reasoned with, I'm done being poli-i-ite."
Aiden gave one last look at her, getting up with a last glare, he left the room.

She sighs when, finally, he left.  She went into the kitchen and saw Axel, and Olivia, standing their awkwardly.

"Um.  We heard nothing, right Axel?"  Olivia shoved him out of the room, and Jesse moved aside while looking at them weirdly.  "Yep, bye!"

For a moment, Jesse thought maybe kicking Lukas out from her love life wasn't the right thing, she let out an exasperated sigh.  She decided to go see Aiden, but she couldn't stop thinking to herself, 'Was I wrong?'

(A/N)  All I have to say is... gosh that song part was really cringy, and I regret doing it.  But it's too late now, and I'm too lazy to fix it! But god, I'm back, and I decided to keep working :D
