Chapter sixteen

Friday
I had my arms wrapped around Happy's waist as we drove to the club house after school. The prick that hit on me the other day came to school with a huge bruise and stayed as far away from me as possible, I felt proud at first but I realized I wasn't the one who stopped him, it was Hap.

Today felt long, longer then usual, I had piles of homework and studying to do for the weekend which was not how I had planned it to go. We pulled into Teller Morrow and parked the bike when me and Happy got off I noticed Happy staring at the entrance, as I followed his gaze I saw the van again parked across the street.

"What do you think they want?" I asked looking up to Happy as he shrugged "dunno but Clay says don't engage since they ain't doing anything" we walked inside to see Half Sack wiping off the counter "when did they get here" Happy pointed to the monitor that had a perfect view of the van "not too long, five minutes ago maybe" Half Sack said not really sure of his time.

Happy nodded and walked out again as he did the day before "oh I uh cleaned your room" Half Sack said behind me making me turn "you didn't have to do that" I said "oh no Clay makes me clean the rooms usually once a week" he explained, I sat down on a bar stool "do you just do whatever they tell you to do?" I asked "well uh I'm a prospect so if I want to earn my full patch then I do what I'm told" he said.

I had never noticed that his kutte only had the patch that read 'prospect' sewn on the bottom back but nothing else while Juice had a huge reaper on the back and a 'Sons of Anarchy' and 'California' seen on the back along with some other small patches on his sleeve, I guess you just have to earn into the club.

"Um so someone had mentioned the other day about a gym being in the club house" I intertwined my fingers and rested them on the bar top as I spoke "where is it?" I asked Sack. He pointed behind me to the hallway that a couple feet away from the room where the club have their meetings, the hallway had a large piece of glass in the wall with a door beside it. The blinds on the inside of the room blocked the view of the room "that room?" I asked "yep here I'll show you" Half Sack walked around the counter.

He opened the door and it was small then I had expected it could probably only fit about five people in there if they tried hard enough, the room had weights, benches, a treadmill (which took up most of the room), a rack of weights against the wall, and another machine that stood up straight that I didn't know what it was.

Note:I know that they had a scene with Clay, Happy, and Juice in the gym around season 5 I think and I'm too busy to look back and find that episode so I'm sorry that it may not be as accurate as the show, you may continue.

"It isn't top of the line or anything but it works for us" Half Sack spoke as he leaned on the door way as I walked inside and looked around "I like it, it's quiet" I smiled at Half Sack. I pushed past Half Sack quickly "where ya going?" He said as he followed me out "getting changed I'm using the gym" I turned around and smiled at him and went to my room.

When I came out of my room I was in a pair of skin tight black leggings with mesh at the sides and a baby pink tank top while my hair was tied in two braids, which took me longer then expected, I had a water bottle in my hand as I went into the kitchen. When I got in I unscrewed my bottle cap and started to fill up my bottle with water from the tap "so what's up with you and Hap?" I heard and turned to see Half Sack in the doorway.

"Haha nothing, me and him are friends" I turned my attention back to the sink when my water over flowed and onto my hand and put on the cap quickly "I don't know if I believe that" I could practically hear the smirk in his voice "so you need me to prove it to you?" I laughed as I turned to him again "yeah you do" we both laughed "Alright" I leaned on the counter "well for starters I don't think Juice likes him and we aren't exactly best friends, I also have a date on Saturday and it's not with him" I explained.

"Wait with who" he sounded shocked "it's" I stopped myself when I realized it would probably be a bad idea to tell Sack "nobody you don't know him" I got away from the counter and walked past him again "oh come on" he said as he followed me "alright alright" I turned to him and sighed "it's Dwayne Johnson we wanted to keep our relationship private though" I punched his arm as he laughed "shut up who is it".

I bit the inside of my bottom lip "Deputy" was all I said and started to walk to the small gym as I left Half Sack speechless "Hale!" He yelled which made me turn fast again "hey! Keep it down could you" I said trying to calm down his protest. "Talia Juice will kill you" his eyes were wide "hey Sack no offence but I think I got it alright" I walked backwards a little ways and then turned around and into the gym.

It ain't that big of a deal right?
