Chapter eight

Two weeks later

"You sure you got everything?" Juice repeated again as we were making our way to the door of the club house "yes" I groaned "binders, text books, pencils, phone, wait is your phone charged? Wait here I'll grab you my charger and you can take it to go" before Juice could stamper on more I grabbed the shoulder f his shit and pulled him towards the door.

"I got everything Juice, I don't need a charger or anything alright? I'm gonna be fine" I said as I slung my bag on one of the stools as I talked to him, we were interrupted by Gemma when she came out of the kitchen with a tall thermos mug in her hand as she handed it over to me "just some coffee to get you through the day" I thanked her as I took it. "Calm down you two it's her first day not yours" Clay spoke up while he was sitting at the bar while reading his paper.

"Hey you watch it, I never got to do the first day of college with Jax so I'm celebrating hers, she's the only one in this building that went" Gemma mumbled the last part but I still heard. I looked up at the clock and cursed "I'm gonna be late!" I yelled as I ran to the door but heard Gemma and Clay yell goodbye. When I got to my car I threw my stuff inside and looked out my window to see Juice running towards me, I rolled down my window for him and gave him a look "I'm gonna be late what do you want?" I asked frustrated "you remember where it is?" He asked referring to the university "yes of course now I need to" I was cut off by a loud bike engine pulling up beside me, when I looked over I saw the familiar face of Chibs.

"Have a good day lass, don't fail" he said as he got off his bike and started to walk inside "alright by Talia" Juice said as I rolled up my window and waved bye to him as I pulled away.

Time skip cause this class shit is boring

Classes weren't so hard today, I met my teachers and some classmates but we didn't do much work,the day seemed to be great until I was halfway back to Charming when my car made a loud popping noise and smoke started to erupt from the hood. I pretty much cursed at the top of my lungs as I pulled to the side of the road, I turned off my car and grabbed my phone as I tried do dial Juices number but I had no reception. "Fuck!" I screamed as I kicked my tire and almost threw my phone, I started walking back to Charming while trying to hitchhike but no one was picking me up. I had been walking for an hour until a familiar Jeep pulled up to me and rolled down the passenger window.

I smirked at Hale when he started laughing at me "you need a ride?" He asked "oh no Hale I really love walking" I replied sarcastically as he laughed then heard him unlock the car as I jumped in "drop you off at TM?" He asked "uh yeah" I said as I buckled my seatbelt. It took us maybe a half an hour to get back to the club house but I know Juice was gonna be mad, as we pulled in I could see Juan's face getting red as he noticed me in the passenger side.

I hoped out with a little shy smile on my face as Juice approached angrily "hey" I said awkwardly "where have you been?" Juice almost screamed "look my car broke down and Hale gave me a ride alright it was nothing" this time Hale didn't even step out of the car , instead Hale just waved and drove off. "What did we say?" Juice said as he followed me as I went to go to the shop to ask for a lift to get my car.

"Yes I know but would you have rather had me walk back?" I asked as he just sighed "is this gonna be a regular thing?" Juice asked "what? No he was just helping me, now can someone come with me to get my car?"I asked "go ask Clay he's in his office" I walked through the shop while trying not to step on grease or oil until I reached the door to a small room and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I heard Clays voice say on the other side, I opened the door two see Clay sitting behind the desk while a familiar sight was sitting across from him and I couldn't help but scoff "what's he doing here?" I asked but it came out more sassy then I had intended "does it matter?" Clay asked but I just shook my head. Happy "what do you need darlin?" He asked "car broke down I need someone to come and help tow it" I said as I leaned against the doorway "perfect Happy will come tow you" my eyes widened a little as Happy was gonna say something but changed his mind "you got it" Happy said in his gruff voice.

We walked out of the shop and found the tow truck and hopped in slamming the doors shut "where is it?" He asked not looking at me "an hour outside of Charming" I said "I'll show you".

We got to the road where my car still sat but when I got there the door was open with a smashed window, I raced out of the truck and over to my car "fuck" I said as I reached the car. I looked inside to see shattered glass everywhere and some money that was in my glove box gone, the inside of the car was practically flipped upside down with everything that was thrown around.

"Anything missing?" Haps voice said behind me making me jump a little "some cash that I had stored but nothing else that I can see" I said as I kept inspecting, everything was quiet except for Happy walking on the gravel around the car but I heard the footsteps stop "you hit a deer or something on the way home?" My head perked up to see Happy standing behind the car and soon I joined him to see a red liquid that was spilling out the back of the trunk.

I looked over to Happy who had a confused look on his face as I had a confused one on mine "stand back" Happy reached his arm in front of my chest to make me back up as I watched him pull out a hand gun from the back of his pants and point it at the trunk while taking his other hand and opening it.

I peered over his shoulder to see what it was, the first thing that hit me was a terrible rotting smell but I finally saw what the smell was. Three dead crows laid in the trunk with blood covering any possible space in the back, the crows were all cut up down the middle with all their guts spilling out of the cut and onto the rug floor in the trunk. I couldn't help but look away and throw up on the road while plugging my nose of the terrible smell. I saw Happy reach into the trunk as I was about to protest he pulled out a folded out piece of paper and read it a loud "leave or next time it won't be dead crows" he said.

We both looked at each other confused then back to the trunk "so do you think we should tow it back?" Happy asked me but I was just so shaken up that I couldn't speak "hey, girlie?" He stepped closer while waving a hand in front of my face to get my attention, I tried to speak but nothing came out "here, just go sit in the truck and I'll handle it" I nodded and went back to the truck.

"Where the hell have you guys been? Thought you died" clay joked as I stepped out of the truck and shut the door lightly. The group of the guys that were standing there consisted of Clay, Jax, Juice, and a man named Tig. Obviously Juice cold see how shaken up I was as I got out of the truck, mine and Happy facial expressions were the same and the guys just stared at us "what's wrong?Pussy got your tongue?" Tig joked "uh we got a problem" Happy spoke up "what is it?" Jax asked as Happy led them to the back of the car as I just walked to the wall of the motor shop and slid down it until my butt hit the ground and the tears started to pour like a waterfall.

What kind of business does this club do that makes people wanna do this?
