Happy's POV
"Is there something wrong with the food?" Mom asked as I stared at the very old table but perked my head up when she spoke "uh no ma of course not I've just been busy lately" I smiled weakly at her but all she did was nod and continued to stare at me "something else wrong?" She asked intertwining her fingers and placed them on the table in front of her.
"Not really" I mumbled and continued to pick at the stew in my bowl "what makes you ask?" I questioned , she shrugged, "you just never get stressed with club stuff so I assumed it would be something different" she spoke as her eyes pierced mine, everything got old about her but her eyes still stayed vibrant and full of energy, they were one of my favourite things about her."Just some stuff came up" I knew I couldn't lie to her but I knew I couldn't tell her truth but I was only delaying the inevitable "is it a girl?" She asked "yeah" I growled but not coldly "am I getting grand kids?" As the word 'kid' left her mouth I instantly chocked on a carrot but managed to swallow it down.
"Sorry" she whispered "it's alright just uh no, no it's not kids ma" I replied and let out one more cough before continuing eating the stew, she didn't say anything just looked down at her food "I ain't gonna be here forever" it was her go-to line to sucker me into anything "ma I'm not ready for kids" I laid the fork down on the napkin beside the bowl "I'm not meaning grand kids Happy" she raised her voice.
"I just want you to find someone Hap" she began to be quieter as she sighed "I was mom but" I stopped myself so I didn't spill out unwanted details "what?" She asked but I avoided her eyes. "What did you do Happy?" She said with more anger in her tone "her brother thought I was messing around with her, which I wasn't, but I left her there and came to see you for a bit" I finally caved into her strong and almost wicked motherly ways.
"Happy look at me" I raised my head slowly to her then finally met her eyes "I'm gonna be fine but you gotta go fix that Happy, I raised you better and you damn well know I did" she slammed her fist on the table as hard as she could "I know ma" I spoke quietly I felt like a dog with his tail between his legs "go Happy" she pointed to the door "now?" I asked but all she did was nod.
"Aunt will be here" she said as quickly as I got up out of my seat, I kissed the top of her head before grabbing my bag and heading to my bike, the ride home was about almost a day drive but I didn't mind all I cared about in that moment was Talia and fixing whatever hell I caused.

Talia's POV
I laid back again on my comfortable bed at the club house with my bag still packed beside me, I sighed as I heard the tapping of rain drops on the glass window, I ignored all the noises outside and around me because all I could think about for the past three days was Happy. A part of me was slightly mad but I had come more to terms with it that I figured he would've over reacted if Juice had said anything about us, I finally gave up being silent to Juice so all I would give him were "yes, no, mhm and alright" answers from me.
I could tell Juice was upset but I had given up trying to please him but I could also tell that he was trying, Clay had practically put Gemma as a temporary body guard every now and then just for emotional support but I could tell that he did it so that I wouldn't cause the club members to lose their heads due to all the shit I've caused. I gentle knock came to the door a head of me "come in" I spoke and watched as the meal knob turned and then opened the door.
"Hey" Gemma's kind voice practically sang "come have some beers or something, you've been so busy with your online school shit that I rarely ever see you" she leaned on the wall with the cold beer in her hand, I couldn't deny it that school had been a pain in my ass lately so I sighed "fair enough" I pushed myself up and walked into the bar lightly trailing behind Gemma.
Most of everyone's eyes laid on me which caused me to look at myself I had on a black t-shirt with short dark purple shorts in fact they were so short that my butt cheeks were almost escaping through the bottoms of them, I shrugged it off though not really giving a damn. I sat at the bar with Gemma and sipped on a beer that I promised was gonna be my only one but soon one beer turned into three more which of course caused my tiny body to get slightly tipsy as I began to fumble and slur on my words or trail off of my sentences, others thought it was funny while others of the club tried to get me to at least go lay down or eat something but I would wave them off and say I was fine.
A loud crash and other loud noises erupted outside as the stormed intensified with now pounding rain, bright lightning, and booming thunder. We all ignored it for the most part or Clay would tell Half Sack to turn up the music to block out the outside noise, then another crash again but this one was different and all our attention turned to the club house door that was swung all the way open "SHUT THE DAMN DOOR!" Clay yelled to the dark figure who turned around and closed the metal door shut again and my blurry vision seemed crystal clear when I saw the man come into the light.
"Happy?" I called out and walked towards him but instead of answering his breath picked up and got louder, I noticed a droplet of red liquid drip from his eyebrow bone and drop to the floor and soon he came crashing down to the floor with it. We all yelled and ran over to his body that we flipped over on the floor "I'll call Tara!" Jax yelled and ran to another room we all continued to try to help Happy and picked him up and brought him to the black leather couch, we all noticed that his tattooed body seemed pale and his head had a gash in it just about two inches above his eyebrow, to everyone else he must've looked sick but to me he looked dead and that I was staring at his corpse.
Tara entered the building a couple minutes later with a bag of what I assumed was medical equipment, she examined his features and the cut and began to clean it then stitch it up "he's very, very sick with a high fever and the stitches will have to be taken out by someone in a couple weeks" she spoke to the group of men and me and Gemma "someone just get him some liquids and put a hot cloth on his face and when he wakes up bring him straight to a bathtub and give him a hot bath" she began to pack up he tools and then she said her good byes and left us all "well?" Clay held out his hands and looked to Half Sack "what?" Half Sack asked dumbly.
"You heard the doc get him that shit" Clay ordered as Half Sack and Chibs ran to get some stuff, even though I wasn't in the exact right health to help him I felt and acted completely sober now. I got on my knees beside him and grabbed the cloth from Half Sack and soaked it in a small bucket of boiling hot water then placed it to his forehead. I hated him but I couldn't just watch him.
