'Well here goes nothing.' Kaneki thought as he decided to tell Touka what happened, back at the time when he was in that room.

He took a deep breath and start the story.

"After Yamori and the others kidnapped me, I woke up chained to a wooden chair. Yamori was already there and was preparing his 'tools'. Do you know what an RC supresant is?"

Touka shook her head.

"It's an injection which stops all kagunes activity's but the thing is, because of the fact I am a ghoul and that the needle wasn't made of quinqie steel, he had to inject it true my left eye."

Touka's eyes widened.

"And that was just the beginning of all of it."

"A-after he injects me he started citing, twisting and s-snapping my fingers and toes one by one, after I stop healing and the injection goes off, he would feed me and give me the injection again."

Touka's heart skipped a beat.

"He was doing this over and over again, without stopping, until he finds a new way to torture me. He would bring a couple, two of the people who were cleaning my blood. When he brought them he asked me who will die and who will leave. You know me, so you know that I wasn't able to choose so he killed both of them in front of m-my eyes... It was all my fault." Kaneki almost started sobbing. "While he continued to torture me he gave me a task to count from one thousand by sevens. At first, I didn't know why but then I understood that it was to keep me as same as possible and to not lose consciousness after that he took a 20 cm centipede in my ear, I can still feel it crawling."

"T-That all... Happened" Kaneki nodded.

"I... Really was going mad after he goes out of the room I was seeing Rize. She started giving me flashbacks of my childhood when my mother died, telling me that it was her own fault that she died, she was the one telling me that it was my fault that Rioko died."

One tear falls from Kaneki's eye.

"By then my hair had gotten white and I... actually ate Rize in my head accepting that I'm a ghoul."

"...What about Jason..." She was kind of scared to ask but curious to know how he got out.

"After those ten days there he came and said that our 'fun' is over and that he was gonna eat me..."

"I fouth the bastard but he didn't stop healing so I ate his kagunes instea-"

Kaneki was cut by a sudden hug by Touka.

"I'm sorry... This is actually my fault I was the one that wasn't able to protect you and wasn't strong enough, you were just learning how to leave as a ghoul. It's not right to just suddenly enter our world."

Kaneki hugged her back.

"But still..."

"I will hear no more of this shit you always say Kaneki. It's not your fault and it has never been you are just a victim of this cruel world."

Kaneki and Touka were both sobbing softly. After a few minutes they both calm down, Kaneki was actually relieved that he was able to get that weight off of his shoulders.

"Let's get ready for the day. Today we are opening: re." Touka broke the silence.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot" they both get ready and got down to: re. Yomo was already downstairs.

"Good morning Yomo" they both greeted.

Yomo just nodded.

Five minutes after they opened a few customers entered and were actually really surprised by how good the coffee was.
