The news wasn't good for Kaneki, not even a little. His childhood friend had been kidnapped and who knows what that sick doctor is doing to him. When Touka told him the news he didn't have a panic attack more like seven. The trio was trying to calm him down around half an hour.

"How is he?" Ayato asked. It's been four days since Hide got kidnap and Kaneki didn't take it very well he was barely sleeping having nightmares about his own torture.
"Not well I was barely able to calm him enough so he can sleep. I'm sure he can get only three to four hours sleep right now.
"So what now."

"I'm not sure we need to find the damn doctor's new laboratory and we need to hurry I don't want to get hide back the same way as Kaneki."

"Hmmm."

"What is it."

"I'm thinking of the possible bases that can be used without anyone noticing."

"And?"

"I have a few ideas but I'm not sure I need some people to check on them."

"I can help with that."

"Tsukiyama? So you're alive?"

"Indeed I am all those years I thought that my sweet Kaneki is dead and I wasn't in the right state but one little bird told me that Kaneki was here. Speaking of kaneki were is he?"

"I don't think he's in the mood to talk to you now heg he's not in the mood to speak to anyone," Touka added a little annoyed.

"Oh? And why's that if I may ask."

"None of your fucking business but you will be of help if check on the bases Ayato will give you. We're searching for Kanou."

Kaneki was having another nightmare. And not from the usual bit even scarier. Along Kaneki there was Hide suffering with him.

Meanwhile, Hide really was suffering the damn doctor was citing him open almost every minute. He was screaming and begging but the doctor didn't give a reply or reaction. He was cutting both Hide's body and kakune to chack his regeneration. After a while hide fell unconscious.

When he got to his dream there was a boy in front of him. He was miserable and had white hair he was chained to a wooden chair and didn't have fingers. The boy was looking at the floor but when he looked up at Hide, Hide realized that that was Kaneki his eyes were tired and a little puffy like he had been crying and haven't slept in weeks.

"Kaneki?"

"H-Hid-e?" Kaneki said in a weak tone. And his voice wasn't the normal soft and sweet voice. No, it was like he had been screaming for days.

"Kaneki are you okay?" Hide asked worried.

"H-Hide I've never been okay. But what your seeing right now is not what my state is." He looked at Hide's brown eyes. "Your the one that's not okay."

"What do you mean?"

"If Kanou continues like that you'll soon lose your sanity."

"W-what?"

"Pane change people that's why I changed so much I had to. But you have to stay strong. You have to stay the same. I won't forgive myself if you change because of my mistakes."

Everything started to fade.

"Kaneki? Kaneki wait!" He woke up as well as Kaneki. When Kaneki woke up the first thing that he noticed was that he was crying.

"H-hide..." He sobbed.

Hide wasn't any better as well. When he woke up he started crying and apologize that he was putting Kaneki true that.
