I woke up with a smile on my face as I knew it was going to be a great day! I changed into my 2nd black and white jumpsuit as my first one needed to be washed. I put my ginger hair up into a bun and grabbed a book. I skipped all the way to the entertainment room and I found that it was empty. Oh well, early bird gets the worm. I sat down on the table and rested my feet on the bench. I started reading the book I was reading last night and I got really interested in it.
I heard the gate open, so this made me look up. Greenwood came in followed by Sionis, then Aaron, then Dobkins, followed by Barbra then my ginger haired daydream. I jumped off my table and embraced him in a hug. "Thank you!" I whispered in his ear. I pulled back and he grinned. "So you like it?" He grinned. I pulled him into a kiss. I broke the kiss and dragged him over to the bench for us to sit down. "It's beautiful Jerome. It really is." I said holding his hands and looking his way. Barbra was sat in front of us and was leaning against Sionis.
"Someone tell me a funny story." Barbra suddenly said out of the blue. Aaron perked his head up from doing Barbs' toenails as Sionis cleared his throat. "I have one. So when I was in college, I played for the varsity polo team and I had a string of ponies --" Sionis was cut off by this new inmate. He was fat, balding and he looked weird. "Greetings! I am Zaardon the soul reaper." He announced. Ugh. He stank as well. Sionis turned his head back to us, "So I had these ponies --" He was cut off again by this weird looking dude. "Here me slaves. My patience is wearing thin. Surrender your souls to my mercy," At this point he got onto the table, looking angered, "Or I swear by the master, I shall feast on your pain. I shall gorge on your torment. I shall crush you like a bug!" He suddenly started having a coughing fit, falling on to the table and releasing this blue smoke that we all inhaled causing us to have a coughing fit ourselves then everything went black.
Pulling around from the darkness was hard. I opened my eyes and instantly regretted that decision. I quickly squeezed my eyes and tried to move my hands. Strange, I couldn't move them. I opened my eyes and looked to see that I was bounded on a wheeled transporter they use in warehouses for moving heavy objects. I was still in my Arkham clothes and I noticed that my ginger locks were hanging off of my shoulders. I looked up and saw that I was not in Arkham and instead I was in a posh sort of building. The décor was fabulous and modern! In front of me was a massive wall of windows and as I looked to my left and noticed that there was Dobkins, then my dear Barbra. And then to my right there was my ginger, Aaron, Greenwood and Sionis. We were all strapped up the same way. I noticed guards were at the doors and I knew instantly that this guy was rich.
"What the hell is this place?" Greenwood asked. "It ain't Arkham anyhow." I stated sarcastically. Jerome looked at me with a devious smile on his face. He turned to face Greenwood, "Things are looking up." He finished. I heard footsteps. A pair of them and then pointed my head in the direction of a well dressed man. He was wearing a navy blue suit, waist coat and shirt the same colour, with a red tie. "Welcome everyone." He started speaking. Geez, he sounded posh. The girl behind him looked to be a relative of some sort, except she was all dressed in black leather. "My name is Theo Galavan. This is my sister Tabitha." Everyone started making noises to her and cat-calling over to her, except Jerome, Barbra and I. Theo put his hand up, "I understand you're feeling confused," He started to slowly walk down to us, inspecting us, "scared, but please relax! Today is the first day of a wonderful future for all of you." Sheesh. I literally can't wait to get out of here. I had my future next to me already. I had my Jerome. Barbra interrupted him, "Who are you?" She asked with a bored look on her face. He stopped in front of Jerome and I. We both watched him with focused eyes. "Well, the question is who are you?" He flipped the question back on to Barbra. "The world sees criminals and lunatics," Oi! We ain't lunatics. We're just ahead of the curve, "But, I see charisma," He started walking over to Barbs, "I see power." He was singing my song, and apparently Jerome's too.
