When we arrived at the venue for the gala, we knocked out the magician and threw him in one of the trunks. We also informed the manager that we were the fillers for the missing magician so she pointed us to our equipment. Whilst Jerome was testing out his new 'toys', I peeked out from behind the curtain to see the main room fill with people. Amongst the crowd, I could tell that Theo wasn't there already but Bruce Wayne was. I felt a bit of sadness prick my heart as I remembered my dream.

"Hey doll, look at these." Jerome called me over to a tray of throwing knives. I picked one up and twirled it in my hand.

"Shiny!" I exclaimed in awe.

"Hey, you may want to get ready. Dr. Lee Tompkins is going to be announcing you on stage any moment." The manager told us. She looked dreadful. Probably over things not going right tonight. I heard Lee announce Jerome's alias for tonight and I went to walk on stage, putting on my mask in the process. I stopped in front of a blue cabinet type box and opened the box revealing no one. I fake gasped and closed the door, placing my hand on my chin in a thinking pose. I opened the doors again to reveal Jerome fake yawning before jumping out of the box and raising both hands in the air. He leisurely walked over to the middle of the stage and I followed.

"Good evening Ladies and Germs!" He started. "I am indeed the great Rodolpho!" He said with a fake Italian accent. We both bowed to the crowd as they gave us an applause. "Please ogle my lovely assistant." He pointed to me and I smiled sweetly and shrugged Jerome off with a hand as if to stop him as I would have been embarrassed. He fake chuckled before pulling out a red handkerchief. He managed to waft it around before pulling out a red rose and handing it to me. I took it off of him, smelled it then disregarded the rose by chucking it away. Suddenly the coos of a dove could be heard as Jerome pulled it out of the same handkerchief. The audience was in love with us at this point. One of the butlers, Sebastian (AN: Wink Wink), shut the entrance doors indicating us that it was showtime. "For my first act, I will require an assistant." Jerome proclaimed into the microphone before raising his hand and playing a game of duck, duck goose to get the perfect volunteer. His hand stopped on Bruce Wayne, so as my job of a helper, I went down to retrieve the boy. I stood in front of the billionaire boy and held out my hand to him.

"Go on lad," Alfred started, "Don't keep the lady waiting." He ushered the teen. He grabbed my hand and I led him through the crowd with my other hand raised high. The crowd were giving him ushers of reassurance and joy. I led him up to one of the boxes I had trained on this morning.

"Hello young man." Jerome said to him and pointed for him to get in the box before closing it on him. I got out the plates that would hold his feet and head in place and slotted them in before Jerome got two plates of metal and clanging them together. "Is there a doctor in the house?" He joked whilst Bruce's butler claimed that we shouldn't do it. Before anyone could react to him, we had pulled the boy apart in half. "Give the crowd a wave." Jerome whispered to Bruce and he did as he was told. We put the box back together and I led Bruce off stage whilst Jerome told a joke about split personalities. I walked Bruce back in front of Lee and Alfred and blew him a kiss goodbye and as soon as I did this Lee noticed there was something wrong with us. I stood in the middle of the room as Jerome started to say something requiring our next act.

"For my next illusion," Rodolpho started, "I would like to call upon the stage the esteemed deputy mayor, Harrison Kane." He finished with a smile as I went to retrieve our next guest. I helped him up to the stage and placed him behind Jerome before walking over to the covered metal table and dragging it over. I took of the material covering it and took off my mask in the progress and looking over to Lee. She looked shocked so I gave her a wink and put my mask back on. She looked like she was calling someone but our other gunman, Michalis, took her away. "By the way," Jerome started up again, "No one in here is getting out alive." He chuckled darkly before I threw a knife in the deputy mayor's chest. The audience seemed to be joking but laughter turned to screams as our gunmen started to shoot everyone that stopped them. The crying and screams turned into whimpers and pleas. I just stood there with my hands on my hips and laughing at the sight before Jerome and I. Jerome had started to take off his false beard and mask so I decided to take off y mask and place it on the table.
