Desiray's POV I woke up this morning to an empty spot next to me. I sat up and stretched rubbing the sleepiness out of my eyes. I turned and in Laurent's spot was a card. I grabbed the card and opened it reading what was inside.
"Hey baby I'm sorry I wasn't there when you woke up this morning. Larry and I had to get up to get some stuff done. I will see you later tonight though. Happy Birthday baby I love you so much. I'm sorry I'm not the first one to wish you happy birthday. Now have fun with Jae and relax. Today is your birthday so just let people treat you like the princess you are. I love you baby I will see you tonight. Love, Lau 💜💙."
I smiled and wiped the tear away that rolled down my cheek. I grabbed my phone and saw that I had a notification from Lau on Instagram. I shook my head and clicked on the notification. (I'm gonna use another picture of me! Beware of ugliness that is my face!)

I got out of bed and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and had a small heart attack. "SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY DESI" my mom and Jaelyn scream to the top of their lungs. "Aww thanks so much guys" I say giving them both a very big hug.
"Come on sweetie I made you a special birthday breakfast" my mom says grabbing my hand. She put her hand over my eyes and walked me over to the dinner table and guided me into the chair. She removed her hand from my eyes and I gasped. She made me waffles with whip cream, strawberries, blueberries, and chocolate drizzled over the top.
"Thank you so much mommy" I say hugging her tight. "You're welcome sweetie. Now eat your breakfast so you can go with Jae to the spa" she says rubbing arm. I nodded and began eating my waffles. "Mmm these are so good mommy" I say with a mouth full of waffles. She laughed at my stuffed mouth and took a picture of me.
