Desiray It has been about a month and a half since I moved. Over that time I have been named head captain of my basketball team, I have set a school record, and made amazing friends. Laurent and I have become really close after we hung out after my basketball tryouts. My crush on him has become even larger. It is hard to ignore it because we are around each other all the time.
Today is Friday and we have our first home basketball game. Both boys and girls won their away games on Tuesday. I was excited because when I play home games there is just something about being at home that hypes me up.
I got out of bed happy like I do every morning. I got in my closet and grabbed out a random outfit.

I grabbed my phone off my nightstand to reveal I had a text message from Laurent.
Imessage Lau: good morning belle
Me: good morning Lau
Lau: I will be at your house in 10 minutes to pick you up
Me: ok see you soon
Lau: see you soon don't eat breakfast
Me: why???
Lau: cause I said not to
Me: ok I have to finish getting ready
Lau: ok bye

I grabbed my backpack and walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. While I was waiting for Laurent I decided to eat a banana even though he told me not to. I took a bite and sat on the couch. My mom came in and kissed my head. "Morning sweetie," she said standing behind me.
"Morning mom," I said looking backward. There was a knock at the door I stood up to get it but my mom was already at the door. Laurent walked in and I was still eating a banana.
"I told you not to eat," he said as I took a bite of the banana.
"Sorry I was hungry," I said with a mouth full of banana.
