Today is the state championship game. I'm more nervous then I have ever been during this basketball season. I'm under a lot of pressure being the team captain. Even though the girls keep telling me I'll be ok I don't feel like it. Laurent has been so helpful this past few days. He stayed after practice was let out to continue to help me practice, calming me down when I started panicking. He has even stayed the night at my house almost every night this week.

I woke up this morning sweating. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom so I could take a shower. I turned on the shower and waited for it to get cold. While it was getting ready I went back in my room and grabbed my phone. I took it back into the bathroom and turned on my music.

I sat my phone on the sink and got undressed. As I was about to step in the shower I could hear Lily whine from the outside of the door. "Aww one minute baby mama forgot" I walked over and opened the door for her.

She walked in and laid by the sink. "Sorry mama forgot you don't like to be alone" I say getting into the shower. I let the cold water cascade down my body. I washed my body, then moving on to my hair. I finished washing my hair but I didn't get out of the shower. I stood in the shower for 5-10 minutes after I finished washing my hair.

I turned the shower off and got out. I grabbed my hair and squeezed all the excess water out of my hair. I wrapped my hair in a towel, and dried my body off. Once my body was mostly dry I wrapped the towel around myself and walked out of the bathroom. "Come on Lily" I say drying the rest of my body off completely.

I threw my towel in the hamper and grabbed some bra and panties to put on. I slipped them on and walked over to my closet. I grabbed a simple outfit to wear so I would be comfortable.

I finished getting changed and I just flopped on my bed. I sprawled myself out like a starfish. I laid there like that for a minute or two, before getting up to brush my hair. I threw my towel in the hamper and brushed out my now damp hair. I didn't feel like doing anything with it so I just left it down.

I walked out of the bathroom and laid down on my bed. Lily jumped up on my bed and laid down next to me like she always does. "Aww thank you baby mama definitely needs this" I say as she licks my face. My phone vibrated so I reached over and grabbed it. It was a text message from Laurent.

"Hey mama I be there in two minutes."

I got off my bed and grabbed my back pack and duffel bag. "Lily baby come on Daddy is gonna be here soon" I say walking out my door. She got off the bed and casually walked over to me. I laughed as I shut the door. We walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I filled up Lily's food and water dish.

I sat them on the floor as I heard the door open. I got in the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. I walked out in the living room to see Lau playing with Lily. "Hey baby" he says seeing me walk in the room. "Hey" I say pecking his lips. "You ready to go" he asks walking to the door. "Yeah just let me grab my bags." I grabbed my bags and went to walk out the door but Laurent blocked it so I couldn't.

"Where do you think you're going" he asks raising an eyebrow. "With you to school" I say confused. "Not with those jeans on you not. They way too tight" he says scolding me. "They are called skinny jeans for a reason" I say crossing my arms. "So you ass is gonna be moving and jiggling and shit. That's only for my eyes to see. Now go upstairs and change" he says turning me around.

This isn't the first time he has done this to me. We ended up being 30 minutes late for school on Wednesday because he wouldn't let me leave until I put on actual pants. I think it's cute how he is so protective over me. "But babe" I whine.
