Finn parked his car in the closest spot to the main entrance. Finn and Kurt got out of the car and walked into the school together. Kurt knew he shouldn't be as nervous as he was. Finn was right next to him and there probably wern't many kids just hanging around. Kurt was almost to first period when he saw Karofsky wearing his leather man jacket.

"Nice to see you again fag." Karofsky joked as he pushed Kurt into the lockers. He laughed and walked away with such confidence in his eyes.

"Hey you better watch it Dave!" Finn yelled across the hall. Finn helped Kurt get up.

"Way to hang in there dude. I'll see you after school alright?" Finn said. Kurt just nodded his head and walked into class. All of Kurt's thoughts were interrupted by the sights right in front of him. There sitting in the front row was a very attractive guy who Kurt had never seen before. Kurt was just standing there staring at the boy for a few seconds. He was just about to sit next to the guy and start a conversation. Before he could, however, he heard someone calling his name. Kurt looked up and saw his friend Mercedes Jones. They met last year in glee club, and they became very close during the summer.

"Hey girl!" Kurt exclaimed with a slight smirk.

"Come over here!" Mercedes demanded. Kurt went to the back of the room and sat next to Mercedes. Kurt knew he shouldn't have been upset to be sitting with Mercedes and not the cute guy. He always wanted to have friends, plus he doesn't even know the guy. He could be a douche for all Kurt knew. Class went on, but all Kurt could do is think about this guy.

"You know what, I'm not the shy guy I used to be. After class I'm going to introduce myself and hopefully we can become friends." Kurt thought to himself. Once the bell rang Kurt saw the guy walking away.

"Hey I'll catch up with you later okay?" Kurt told Mercedes. Mercedes nodded as Kurt walked in a fast pace towards the handsome boy. Kurt began walking side by side with him.

"Hey, I saw you in English class and you were like the only person I didn't recognize. Are you new here?" Kurt questioned.

"Yeah I just transferred from Dalton academy." he said. "My name is Blaine Anderson."

"Even his name is hot." Kurt stated in his mind.

"Oh cool. I'm Kurt Hummel. I know it's hard to make friends so I just thought maybe I would help you out." He said as he slightly laughed.

"Well that's very sweet of you Kurt Hummel." Blaine said with a smile. "Here pull out your schedule so we can see if we have any other classes together."

"Alright." Kurt showed Blaine his schedule as did Blaine.

"Looks like we have fifth together too." Blaine stated. "I'll see you then I guess."

"Sure." Kurt said as Blaine left. Kurt walked down the hall with a very excited smile on his face.

"I better not be getting a crush on him." Kurt thought. " I don't want to seem creepy and ruin our friendship. He's probably not even gay anyway." However, Kurt couldn't help but smile as he walked to second period. That smile quickly went away when a cold, blue slushie was splashed into his face.

"Should've seen that coming." Kurt thought. Kurt went into the bathroom to clean it up.

After the bell rang in fourth period, Kurt sprinted out of class towards fifth. Kurt got into class and he was the first one there. He assumed that's what he should've expected since all the students get to class at the last second. Kurt sat there awkwardly for a few minutes as he watched each and every kid walk in and sit far away from him. Then there he was, Blaine walking with his perfectly gelled black hair, and his cute little blue bow tie.

"Mind if I sit here?" Blaine asked Kurt, pointing to the desk right next to Kurt.

"Of course not." Kurt said with a smile. He was a little embarrassed that he didn't have any friends in that class, but it was fine. The two boys didn't get many chances to talk during class. There were a few comments here and there. Such as, "i like your bow tie." And "could this teacher speak any slower?" When the bell rang, all the kids stood up and headed out of class.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Kurt told Blaine.

"Yep. I can't wait." Blaine stated with a smile. Kurt smiled back and walked away. For once in his life, he couldn't wait for the next day of school to come.
