Chapter 10: all of me

Kurt walked into glee club and sat right next to Blaine. They didn't get the chance to talk at all earlier in the day.

"Hey Kurt, what happened to your face?" Blaine asked with concern. Kurt had a few noticeable bruises on his jaw, and a scrape on this forehead.

"Oh just stupid bully stuff." Kurt remarked. Blaine wanted to say something defensive to Kurt, but he didn't. Blaine just gave a look of concern towards Kurt. "Anyway, I wanted to do something with you for glee club, but Tina had already asked me." Kurt explained. "I didn't want you to feel alone being the new kid and all—."

"It's okay Kurt. I would be lying if I said I didn't want to work with you too, but this way was fine too. I got to do 100% my own thing and style." Kurt smiled and nodded.

"Alrighty class, we have a small amount of students who are already ready to show off what they've got." Mr.Schuester said. "First we have Quinn, Santana, and Brittany doing Toxic by Brittney Spears." The three popular girls walked up to the front of the room with such confidence.

"Oh and next time, Mr.Schue, call is the unholy trinity. It sounds hella a lot sexier." Santana snickered. The girls sang with such beautiful singing, and they danced with so much talent as well as Hot, flirty moves to show off to everyone. Once they finished, everyone clapped as they sat back down.

"Alright, next we have Blaine Anderson!" Mr.Schuester announced. Blaine set some music sheets on the piano and signaled Brad the piano player away.

"Okay everyone I have decided to sing all of me by John Legend. This song has a lot of meaning to me, and for those types of songs, I like to play the piano myself." Blaine explained. Blaine began to move his fingers gracefully along the keyboard pushing down on the correct key at the correct time. Once Blaine began singing, his voice was so true to heart. His eyes were wide and hopeful, like a puppy's.

Blaine stopped playing and stopped singing. He looked up at the audience only to find them cheering and applauding like crazy. Kurt just stared. He was so lost in the beauty of Blaine's singing and the song itself. Blaine put in so much emotion into it, it seemed as if the lyrics
actually meant something to him. Kurt was attracted to Blaine more than ever now.

Glee club had just finished up. Kurt checked the time on his watch, and it read 3:30 pm. Kurt couldn't wait to go out (as friends) with Blaine at 5. He just didn't see why they could go right after glee club. Finn drove Kurt back to their house. Kurt greeted his Dad and step-mom quickly, and then he rushed straight up to his room. Kurt knew he had to dress casual since this wasn't an actual date. Kurt put on a light brown, thin jacket as well as some plain blue jeans. He also put on this little brown cap that looked like some conductor would wear. This was one of the most casual outfits Kurt have worn. Even at school he dresses up a little bit more extravagant. Kurt styled his hair and carefully considered the right cologne to wear. After getting ready Kurt headed down stairs. He grabbed his wallet, phone, and coat. Even though it was September, it was a chilly day. Kurt heard a doorbell and answered almost immediately.

"Hello Kurt. I like your hat." Blaine complimented.

"Hi, thanks. I like your jacket."

"Why thank you." Blaine smirked. "Ready to go?"

"You bet I am." Kurt replied. He walked out and shut the door.
