Kurt walked into first period and sat in the desk next to Blaine. Both of them greeted each other with hellos and smiles.

"So, That piano lesson from yesterday, it didn't seem like you were that into it." Blaine said. Kurt was embarrassed that he had noticed.

"Oh yeah I'm sorry about that, I was just pretty...distracted." Kurt answered.

"About what?"

"Oh you know, the sleepover and glee club and stuff." What Kurt was really thinking, was he didn't care about piano at all. It was boring and pointless. The Interesting and distracting part was Blaine.

"Come on Kurt, admit it. You thought learning piano was going to be fun, but you decided you didn't like it anymore. You don't have to protect my feelings or anything." Kurt knew that that was only half true, but he wasn't going to go admit the entire truth to his crush.

"Okay fine, I'm sorry I just—."

"Don't worry about it. How about we do something more interesting? Like maybe ice skating and a movie? That's something two friends do right?"

"Sure that sounds like a lot of fun." Kurt replied. "How about tomorrow at 5?"

"Sounds perfect." At that moment the bell rang, and the two boys separated in the hallway.

At the end of the school day, Kurt walked into the choir room for the first official glee club meeting. Pretty much everyone was already in there. Kurt had no idea where to sit. One option was in the front row by Rachel. The second option was in the 3rd row to the left by Mercedes. The third option was in the 3rd row right corner by Blaine. Kurt carefully considered the options. He was still sort of mad at Rachel, and Tina would've been pissed if he sat by Blaine. Kurt wanted to sit by Blaine, but he walked up towards Mercedes and sat down next to her. Finn was also an option, but he was by Puck and Sam, so Kurt didn't really feel comfortable having conversations with them.

"Alright class welcome to this year's first glee club meeting! I'm happy to see you all again as well with the few new faces to offer the new directions. To start the year off easy, our lesson will be no lesson! Talk about a plot twist huh? Everyone can sing any song, with as many people as they want, presenting it however they want. I want to see you guys have fun, relax, and be creative! We will begin performing tomorrow, so Start thinking of ideas now!" Mr.Schue said. Tina walked up to Kurt without hesitation.

"Hey Kurt, I'm really sorry about the sleepover. I shouldn't have gotten mad at you for...that. I guess I can't do a full apology in front of everyone. But I just want to say Sorry." Tina stated.

"I accept your apology. Thank you Tina."

"So, Now that we are good again, Mike and I were wondering if you wanted to do something for this weeks assignment tomorrow?" Kurt felt a little uneasy with that. Only because he didn't know Mike all that well. From what Kurt did know, Mike was a fairly shy guy, and when he did socialize, it was friendly.

"Sure! Sounds like fun." Kurt replied. The three of them came up with a song, a little dance routine, and thought of a few props to use. Kurt glanced over at Blaine. He was sitting all alone just writing stuff in his notebook. Kurt noticed Blaine glance at him quickly one or two times. Kurt felt really bad for him. He was the lonely new kid, And he looked as if he was planning to do a duet with Kurt. Kurt was a bit sad himself, he would've loved singing with Blaine and getting to know him and laughing with him. At least Kurt had Mike and Tina, Blaine had no one.

"There will always be more opportunities." Kurt thought to himself. He cleared his mind and got back to working on the performance.
