The weekend came pretty quickly. Kurt and Blaine decided that Blaine would pick Kurt up Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Whatever Blaine had planned was going to take the whole day. Kurt got ready and walked downstairs. He looked to find his Dad to tell him he was going to be gone all day. There he found His Dad and Finn in the Living room watching sports.

"Hey Dad, just letting you know I'm going to be out the whole day, probably until after dinner." Kurt explained.

"Oh good morning Kurt. Who are you going with and where are you going?" Burt asked his son. Before Kurt answered Finn interrupted.

"Ooooo I bet it's his booooyyyyfrieeeeend." Finn teased. Kurt got this embarrassed look on his face while Burt raised an eyebrow.

"Boyfriend?" He asked.

"Yeah, um, There's this guy I met on the first day of school, he just transferred this year, and we got closer, so now we are dating." Kurt awkwardly explained.

"Don't you think that's a bit rushed Kurt?" Burt questioned. "You just met this guy a week ago."

"I know things happened fast Dad, it just feels right. That's all I know." Kurt mentioned.

"Okay, I would just like to meet him first. And why do you two have to be gone all day?"

" okay that's fine, Dad, and I don't know. He his taking me to a surprise place." Kurt explained. Before Kurt's dad had a chance to reply there was a ring on the doorbell.

"I'll get it." Burt said getting up from the chair and walking over to the door to open it. Blaine had this dorky little smile on his face. Once
he noticed it wasn't Kurt standing at the door, the smile faded away into a friendly smirk.

"Hello, I'm Kurt's father, Burt Hummel."

"Oh hello I'm Blaine Anderson, it's nice to meet you Mr.Hummel." Blaine greeted. Kurt walked up to the doorway.

"Hi Blaine!" Kurt exclaimed walking next to him. He wanted to give Blaine a hug but even that was a little awkward in front of his father.

"Let me ask just one thing, Blaine, why do you have to take my son out for the entire day?" This question seemed a little overwhelming for Blaine.

"Well, I wanted it to be a surprise for Kurt, but—."

"No I don't want to ruin the surprise! I'll just wait outside." Kurt interrupted. He quickly walked out into the front yard.

"I wanted to take him to Cedar Point. It's a couple hours from here but I go there every year with my family and I thought it could be a fun thing to do." Blaine explained.

"Alright, just don't be back too late, and you sure as hell Better be treating him right." Burt sternly replied. Blaine nodded and headed out the door.
