Chapter 14: Bullies

Kurt walked into school with the biggest smile on his face. School had suddenly gotten a lot better for him. He has gotten so close to everyone in glee club, and he got to see his boyfriend every single day of the week. Kurt was so close to first period when he saw Azimio with a grape slushy in his hand. The motion of Azimio's hand moved forward as well as the cup. Soon enough, the purple slushy was all over Kurt's face, and the happiness disappeared. Suddenly, Kurt felt hands on his Shoulders as he turned around.

"Kurt! Oh my gosh are you okay? Wait of course you're not okay. Here this way." Said the sound of Blaine's voice. Kurt was blindly lead by Blaine to the nearest bathroom. Blaine quickly helped Kurt clean up.

"Thank you Blaine." Kurt said with a slight smile. "It's a lot nicer having someone else help me out with this."

"Wait this has happened to you before?" Blaine questioned with concern.

"Yeah...the jocks do this all the time to the glee kids. I know you're new but they've never done it to you before?"

"No...I'm so sorry I didn't know this was happening. I wish I could've been there more to help." Blaine added. Kurt thought about how the slushy part wasn't even the worst of it. All the pushing and name calling he had been through. He didn't want to mention it to Blaine though. He didn't want to seem weak or helpless.

"It's fine. You're here now so thank you." Kurt gave Blaine a warm hug. They stayed in that hug for a few minutes, until Blaine pulled away and gave Kurt a quick peck on the lips.

"I guess we better get to class. We already are tardy." Blaine mentioned.

"Yeah... I suppose." Kurt sighed as they walked side by side out of the restroom, down the hallway, and into the classroom.

After first period, Blaine and Kurt walked down the hallway together. Blaine tried to grab Kurt's hand, but Kurt moved it away before he did.

"I'm sorry Blaine it's just...People arn't very accepting in this school, and—."

"No it's okay I get it." Blaine commented. Kurt could tell Blaine was slightly upset. He felt bad—he didn't like seeing Blaine down.

"But maybe we could do something this weekend and hold each other's hands then?" Kurt asked.

"That sounds great. And I know the perfect surprise place." Blaine smiled walking away towards the direction of his next class. Kurt was happy Blaine smiled, and he was happy he got to spend more time with his boyfriend. Kurt thought about how they met only a week ago, and how they act like they've known each other forever. Most people would say they are moving too fast, but Kurt enjoyed the speed, and he was pretty sure Blaine did too.

Kurt walked into the choir room after school and sat right next to Blaine. The two boys glanced at each other and gave each other little smiles. Soon enough, Mercedes and Sam were at the front of the room singing human nature while staring deep into each other's eyes. During the performance, Kurt wrapped his arm around Blaine's, while Blaine rested his head against Kurt's shoulder. They were enjoying the performance as well as each other. After the couple stopped singing, the crowd applauded. Blaine quickly raised his Hand.

"Excuse me, Mr.Schuester, I would like to perform a duet with Kurt." Blaine suggested. Kurt turned his head and looked at his boyfriend with wide eyes.

"Of course, be my guest." Mr.Schue replied. Kurt walked up to the front of the room with uncertainty. Blaine, however, walked up with pure confidence and a gentle grin. Blaine gave a little whisper to Kurt about the song selection. Pretty soon, the boys began to sing perfect by: Pink. Everyone was enjoying the song and singing and dancing. After glee club, the couple headed out to the parking lot and into Blaine's car as Blaine drove Kurt home.
