sup lads, it's ya girl here to explain what the hell just happened.

a couple of months ago, a good friend of mine asked me to write a fanfic about her. so i did.
at the time i think i had feelings for her, which is why this fanfic is the way it is.
every character is based on someone real from my life, except haru. more on him later.

so let's start with alex. she's a little bitch but oh god i love her. we've been through a lot despite not knowing each other for that long and she's one of very few people who's actually stuck by me through (almost) everything. this book has been going on for so long i don't even call her alex irl anymore! i feel like i messed up alex's character a bit in this, so to make up for it i'm putting her in my next book, which is gonna focus more on haru.

on to haru now. he's the only one in this book who isn't real. he's a character of mine who i've had for a couple years now. i made him to be the perfect best friend for me, i think to cope with some shit i went through. he helped me a lot and still does today, and idk he'll always be my best boy.

eli is a pretty good friend of mine, i think? when i first wrote him into this book i didn't think he liked me very much so i probably did him dirty a little but he's actually pretty nice please no one hate fanfic eli for being a dick it's just me being weird oKAY

i don't think ola needs a backstory. irl we have history of every kind and it's difficult bringing it up when it doesn't need to be brought up. all i'm gonna say is that she made me who i am today and will always be very important to me, and if i can help it i'll always look out for her. i'm quite proud of fanfic ola, although she's not much like irl ola. all these characters are aged up in this from their irl ages, so i'm lowkey blaming any character fuckups on them growing up wHOOPS

i think that's all the main characters? anyway onto the sappy shit. i'm actually proud of this book, i've managed to finish it just about and that's a hell of an achievement for me. thanks to everyone who harassed me about updating, everyone who voted, commented, and/or read this weird and slightly personal thingy. i love yall.
