Chapter 3 Volunteer JobMonica Russell's POV
"Shit" I whisper as I ran through my father clinic. Knowing what was coming.
Finally, I entered his office. He was glaring at me since I got my first look at him.
"Monica! You are 20 minutes late!" He said with authority.
Damn it, I thought to myself; knowing he was pissed off.
"But I am here now" I whisper, looking at the white floor.
"Go to the kids area and look for Isaac Williams; and Monica, follow his orders." He said, with a dead serious look.
"Daddy! Aren't you coming with me, like for them to know I am your daughter. And treat me with respect." I said in a complaining tone.
Adding a little of drama was necessary for my father to get even more pissed off, which will end in him making me go home, and that is exactly what I want.
He shook his head and said "Just go! Who cares you are my daughter. You will not be in-charge of anything just help them out."
Rolling my green eyes, I walked out of his office and walked straight up to the kids area. where I saw people around my age and older sitting in a circle with kids, it looked like if they were playing a game.
"Duck, duck, duck, goose!" A kid said as a blonde girl that looked my age ran after him smiling.
I closed the door behind me loudly so that they looked my way, which they did. I smiled and said confidently "My name is Monica Russell and from orders of my father, Dr. Russell, I will be working with you all for certain amount of time."
The blonde girl that was running walked up to me and I could tell her clothing was cheap. She was wearing skinny black jeans and a navy blue blouse with some horrible looking sandals. Her blonde hair was messy and dry looking.
She sweetly said "nice to meet you! Monica, I will explain everything to you then."
I nod and looking at her straight into her eyes asked "your name is?"
Happiness for me was far away right now, I felt like a princess trapped in a castle, the only difference is that Marcos wasn't going to rescue me. I was doing a sacrifice for Prada, at this time of the day I should be with Marcos or with my friends doing cool things, surely not here, working.
"Oh sorry, my name is Amy Stevens. Sorry for the late introduction." She said nicely "so lets get you started." She added smiling
"Well, my dad told me to look for Isaac Williams, and you are surly not him." I answered rudely, a little to rude. I guess, because Amy changed her facial expression, pissed off at my rudeness, she said dryly "He is in another group of kids right now."
"Right, well get him here." Was my answer with a bossy tone, while I looked around the area.
She pointed at a man that was caring some boxes into a room and said "that's Isaac. Go talk to him."
Walking pass her I reached up to Isaac and looking at his back I said "Excuse me Mr. Williams."
He slowly turn around smiling allowing me to see his face, a well- known face to me.
"You!" I said worried as I pointed at him.
why him! I never thought of seeing him again and even less of finding him here.
"Princess." He said smiling as his sexy eyes met mine. I shook my head in frustration. It couldn't be possible.
Looking at his eyes I remembered the scare Bianca and I passed when we followed Mr. Jacobs, because the guy standing in front of me was the same guy that helped me that day.
