The bell at Tyler's door rang and he set his game controller down and headed for the door. He was so excited for today. He was finally going to give the key to his apartment to Josh. Tyler planned it all out perfectly in his head, first they would go out to eat at their favorite restaurant, they'd head back to Tyler's house, play some videos games and watch some movies and just before Josh would leave, Tyler was going to give him a tiny black box tied with a red string in the middle and tell him "You don't have to go back home anymore, because you can spend the night every night". It was really cheesy, but he knew Josh would love it. Tyler and Josh have been together for about 1 year and 3 months, he knew it was about time one of them offered to move in with the other and Tyler took action.

"Hey, Josh!" Tyler had the biggest smile on his face, he loved Josh more than anything. Tyler stuck his hand out to do their handshake, but Josh just walked right in without even greeting Tyler.

There was some sort of uneasy feeling coming off of Josh. Tyler started to become worried and his hands began to get clamy. He shut the door and went to sit on the couch with his boyfriend.

"Josh...is everything okay?" the clamy handed boy asked Josh.

Josh didn't respond right away. He looked as if his head was in a completely different world and whatever world he was in, it wasn't a good one.

"Huh? oh yeah. Everything is fine. Why do you ask?" Josh was trying to play it off cool.

Tyler raised an eyebrow and his forehead crinkled a little, "What do you mean why do I ask? You didn't say hi to me when I opened the door and you didn't even do our handshake. We always do it, even in our worst mood."

"Tyler, I-"

"What? What is it? You can tell me." Tyler wanted to help his boyfriend through anything.

"...it's nothing. Really. I promise."

Tyler didn't really believe Josh, but he wasn't going to push it out of him. They ended up just playing video games and eating the left overs in the fridge. Tyler decided to try to give the key to Josh tomorrow.

It was 10:00 PM and Tyler was still waiting for Josh to show up any minute. 'Maybe Josh was doing some overtime at work and he was just gonna go home after...Maybe he was planning to spend the night here' Tyler's thoughts were growing louder and louder until he was almost yelling them out. He finally quieted down after a hour and checked his phone.

*NO NEW MESSAGES*

Tyler slumped down in his couch. Where could Josh be? Why hasn't he called or texted Tyler?

Ding Dong

Tyler jumped for the door and opened it just as the bell stopped ringing.

"Josh, where have you been? Did they make you work overtime?", the small figured boy hugged his tall pink flushed boyfriend.

"No...I just went to the uh- gym for a while. I'm sorry I worried you, Ty", Josh hugged Tyler and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

"Ty?"

Tyler lifted his head from Josh's chest, "Yes?"

"You know I love you very much, right? I love you so very much." Josh hugged Tyler tighter.

"Of course I know that, you doof. I love you so very much too."

"Good."

Today was the day. Tyler was not going to back out. It was 7'o'clock PM and he was making a beautiful dinner for Josh. Tyler set up his dining table with caramel scented candles and a yellow table cloth. By 9:30 PM, Tyler was done with everything and the only thing missing was his amazing yellow haired boyfriend. Today, was Friday and he knew that Josh always got out early. There was no excuse for him this time.
