Kyungsoo unlocks the front door of her house and she welcomed with the darkness. The lights were off and she could only see through the dim light of the moon.

It was late and ken must've turned off the lights before sleeping. She locked the door behind her and before she turns around, her heart drops when a weak tired hand grabbed her shoulder so sudden from the back.

She snapped out of shock When the hand moves and nears to Kyungsoo's neck.

She grabbed the hand from behind her and twisted behind the person's back in a painful way.

"Ah!... soo have some mercy!"

She saw ken in sorrow under her grip, she sighed and let his hand free.

"What the actual?!.....Are you okay?" She asked as she stood there looking down at him.

He adjusted himself and sat on the floor, massaging his arm.

"Why were you so scared?...of me?...Am I that scary?...Yass fear me" He chuckled bitterly as he continued on massaging his pained area.

"It's nothing...Why are you up in this hour though?"

Kyungsoo spoke as she flips her bag over her shoulder and heads upstairs to her room.

"I just went to drink a glass of water" ken shrugged then Out of nowhere he asked Kyungsoo something in a serious voice. Which made Kyungsoo surprised.

"Have anything gone wrong?" He said.

Kyungsoo stopped at the end of the stairs and looked at him in suspension.

"Why?" She asked back.

"It's...just...you seem...so tired and pale" ken's eyes filled with worry as he waited for her to answer.

"No...It just.. has been a long day" she continued walking through the corridor to hide and run away from her brother's popping questions and entered her room.

She didn't want him to find out that lately weird things kept happening to her.

She was afraid that if he knew, he will get involved too.

While she came out from shower and drying her hair with a towel, Her phone began to ring. The number came through as Unknown. It's about two o'clock in the morning by now. She got confused as to who would be calling her in this late hour.

She paused for a moment, but decided to answer in the event it was something regarding a bill collector or it's from her company.

"Hello" she whispered.

There was a faint voice of a woman saying back hello that seem to fade away. Her blood ran cold when she knew that it was

Her own voice...

Next it followed by muffled static on the other end and soon continued with some weird bleeping sound.

Nobody was saying a thing...
Then the phone went dead.

Horror started filling her head with these silent phone calls. Sometimes, the call is a bit more coherent, but they never last long. The line is almost always poor with crackling. As if they are coming from someone with no ability of speaking.

But the most terrifying out of all was the fact that her own voice echoed in the other end. As if the caller was near her.

somewhere in the room...

She searched her room for any abnormalities and she found nothing, then she searched for the number, but she couldn't find any information.

The number was with no location.

Kyungsoo left the number in her caller ID just in case if the person called back again.

She passed beside her long mirror that was hung on the wall opposite of the door to go relax on her bed, but She instantly turned her head and looked at the mirror. she saw a long shadowy figure quietly crept outside her bedroom in the corner of her eyes and it disappeared in the blink of an eye. But By now everything look same and still.

Her knees were trembling as if they were going to give way at any moment, Her face in the mirror was almost devoid of color except for the eyes that looked wide open in fear.

She was deadly sure that something passed there..

Her heart was strumming against her ribs at that point. Hair was stuck to her forehead in a thick sweat. The inside of her room suddenly felt like an inferno.

She could not figure out why this all happened in the same night. Nothing like this happened before. But one thing she kept thinking about that

She was being watched...

Kyungsoo told her brother about the shadow, but she didn't mention the incident that happened with the taxi driver or the silent phone calls. Her brother was packing his clothes for his trip and she didn't want to make him worry or to cancel his trip for her. She wanted him to leave peacefully.

That night Kyungsoo checked the whole house together with Ken and they found nothing out of normal.

They sat until 3 o'clock in the morning talking and drinking some hot chocolate then they fell asleep on the couch in downstairs after how much they fought back the sleepiness in their eyes, but in the end

they lost...
